Jayanagar has been growing as far as the restaurant scene goes and how! We now have a brewpub of our own, and it has 4 beers on tap. The menu is a fairly decent one with enough finger foods and a decent set of main courses. Let us talk about the beers first shall we – the 'Pilsner' is great for anyone just starting out, perhaps not up there in the big leagues, but will do well. I personally loved the 'ESB' – a toffee and caramel malt with a nice mix of sweet and bitter, leaning more towards the bitter. The 'Stout' is a solid as far as the coffee flavours go, but not too overwhelming. They did not have their usual 'Pale' on offer when I visited, but the 'Wit' they served instead was a good one. Now coming to the food – the 'Chilli Paneer' and 'Chilli Egg' are great starters to go with the beer. Of course, they also make good partners to a rather potent 'Kiwi Ice Tea' which comes with tequila and vodka mixed in. The menu has some regional favourites – like the 'Missal Pav', though I do not personally think anyone from Maharashtra would approve of it. It is good as far as the spice hit goes, but that's about it. The 'Pandi Curry' is a good choice and makes 'Brewmeister' one of those very rare places that serve pork. If you want to wrap up on something sweet as is the norm after a night on the town, the popular 'Gulab Jamun' and 'Rabdi' are a good pick, the Rabdi being exceptional.
