Chaayos

Chaayos is a cafe in Indiranagar, Bangalore serving tea, beverages and sandwiches. Known for premium tea blends and quick bites; ideal for quick tea breaks and casual hangouts.

Visited Chayos and honestly, I’m confused about what went wrong here — because this was nothing like the Chayos experience elsewhere.

The ambience was extremely dirty, tables and surroundings poorly maintained. The washroom was broken, and the ladies’ toilet wasn’t even functional, which is unacceptable for any café, let alone a known brand.

Food-wise, Litchi Pop Fizz was the only decent item. Everything else was a letdown. The chai itself wasn’t up to the mark, which is ironic for a place built around chai. The sandwich was burnt beyond edible, as clearly visible, and no one seemed to care.

Staff behaviour was unprofessional and indifferent, with zero urgency or accountability.

I’ve been to Chayos at Bhartiya City Mall, and the difference is night and day — better hygiene, better food, better service. This outlet is seriously dragging the brand down. Definitely not worth a repeat visit.

I visit this place often and really enjoy your chai. I have a small request—could you please arrange a bigger cup like this one? It feels so relaxing to enjoy the full tea in that cup instead of the paper one. Thank you for always serving such good chai!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent order last night at this store. I specifically requested a Maska Bun, expecting the traditional soft, sweet, and lightly toasted bread item. Instead, I was served a plain, cold burger bun simply split and smeared with butter. If the kitchen was out of Maska Buns, they should have informed me so I could choose an alternative, rather than trying to pass off a standard burger roll as something it's not. Very poor effort.

Please DO NOT waste money on the Matcha. It is ₹320+!!

The marketing team has done a great work on the video to sell the product. They’ve also been true (partially) to the product by opening the promo with ice cubes aesthetically thrown into a glass.

The drink looks great on screen, and a failure takeaway product while served. Tastes like thick water once you mix the ingredients with the hundred ice cubes inside the plastic cup in which the drink comes.

We as customers sincerely request Chaayos to please work on giving either a good drink OR providing value for money and charging us for the nominally for the drink and the experience and NOT for the café’s electricity bills.

(This last photo was taken after taking many sips with a hope that we would taste something worth what we paid for. Unfortunately, we had to leave with despair)

False advertising - multi grain bun with butter is not bun maska. Stop this or atleast let the customer know before they purchase. You are losing long term customer trust to a make a few bucks in the short term.

Hey Chaayos!! Can you please get your staff and area to sit and eat peacefully? I Hate to see how they must have their breakfast etc, while constantly looking over their shoulder to see if a customer needs seat because then they have to get up! This is not very dignified, is it??
They all are wonderful people and 8 hate to see them eat like this.

This the first Chaayos outlet which I have come across with such poor service and experience.

The place generally feels much dirtier as compared to any other Chaayos cafe I have been too. There were flies floating around.

We ordered Almonds Chai but it hardly had any almonds in it. Pav Bhaji was ordered with extra Pav but the extra pav wasn’t delivered and we had to ask for it. The extra Pav which we got was poor quality and the bottom half of the pav bread was just missing.

The staff seemed untrained and uninterested to serve. Will never visit again.

Chaayos is one of the go to place. This particular place I have been few times. This time I wanted to seat outside the place and when I went upstairs outdoor place. It was too dirty and looked like nobody bothers to clean. It was really bad space and when we asked someone to come up and clean no one bothered to come up and clean. This was my first time experience and I would like them to be little sensitive towards hygiene as we are spending more over food and chai at least we deserve clean space.
