Food

Chambal

Chambal is a restaurant in Mahadevapura, Bengaluru serving North Indian, Mughlai and seafood. Known for North Indian dishes; ideal for family meals and group outings.

If you are looking for a budget friendly restobar near Bagmane WTC, you can check out this place. They have two level of seatings. The menu has options from Chinese and Indian cuisine. Paneer Chilli was really good here and I liked the main course which included different curries and breads.

Never in my life have i had more disappointing seafood. We ordered the crab, prawns and squid.. the crab was not fresh, the prawns were so tiny that I wouldn't pay 200₹ for it, the squid was overloaded with oil which tasted reused.. I'm not over exaggerating when I say this, it's the worst seafood I've had.. while the prices seemed reasonable at first, the quantity and quality of the food failed to do justice to it.. I just hope they use fresh meat next time and make the masalas tasty.. I'm not trying to beat down this place, but this is honestly the most disappointed I've ever been after eating at a restaurant

Worst experience worst food never visit this place either family or friends. I said never, there's lot's of restobar near by but this chambal is unexpected food and behaviour of manger. So rude and aged can't argue with him according to his age but from my side this bar is not good ...

I went here on a Saturday evening. Though it looked empty for a weekend evening, with hardly 2 to 3 tables occupied, we hoped to see more customers as the evening matured. Given the lovely music being played and the trendy getup, we decided to try our luck at the restaurant. We ordered butter chicken, butter naan, a fish in garlic sauce. We had purposely ordered two different types of dishes to get an inkling of how the different cuisines might taste.
Despite the name, Chambal could not offer the taste of a North Indian food. The butter chicken and naan were average compared to the price.
The fish in garlic sauce was a shock as the was badly marinated and the continental salad had lemon juice sprinkled generously all over it.
No wonder, there were so few people dining there.

Food :
Paneer tikka so good
Cheese role also good
Mushroom 65 had little more salt.

Panner bhuna tikka sabzi was some strange unique taste but overall it was good as well.
Prices are reasonable and quantity was also ok.

Service was very good, not much people almost empty.
Music mashups were perfect ?.
Good place for team lunch etc , should try.

The service in this place is very very slow that you will forget what you ordered and they don't even inform how much time it will take to serve the order. One good thing is food you order is good and delicious
