A space for the millennials, it is a good place to include if you plan an evening of pub hopping. Chugg is a live show destination and one that is also partial to DJs. Space is rather expansive, offering indoor, outdoor and a semi-covered seating area. For starters, Chugg offers you an all-day breakfast, which you can indulge in whether you are nursing a hangover or not. The food here is on the heavier side with dishes like the Cheesy Fries, Tex Mex Nachos and Jalapeno Poppers. Bar food in the form of Mexican Spiced Wings and the Tandoori Chicken make great beer partners. If you are looking for heavier meals post all the drinking from the extensive, the Grilled Tenderloin Burger is a good option, as are Thai Curries in prawn and the Chikmagalur Pepper Chicken with Akki Roti. And if nothing catches your fancy, then the biryani of the day, should work for you.
The place is not bad, however the food is terrible. So if you want to just have some drinks with some friends, it's a good place. Keep in mind, they have a compulsory 10% service charge, which is technically illegal without customer consent. They had 2+1 on drinks though. Valid only if you order the same drink.
The place is average and the food was a bit expensive with respect to the quality and quantity. The music was average as well. It's good for maybe a couple of beers with friends.
If you want to just throw your money for nothing you must visit #chugg. in case you visit.. than do not place your order on basis on menu card because rates will be double or triple whats written in there,so better you ask them. No such ambience which will hold you longer to stay and enjoy. Mood spoiler.
French fries were too salty, Bira beer was costly and the music played by the DJ was not danceable. I did not feel comfortable there. In two words: needs improvement. Stephen Joseph Bangalore
