Food

Coastella

Coastella is a restaurant in Koramangala, Bengaluru serving seafood and Mangalorean. Known for fresh seafood; ideal for family meals and group outings.

Visited Coastella recently and absolutely loved the food. The Prawns Pepper, Fish Thali, and Pomfret Fry were all excellent super fresh, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. You can really taste the coastal touch in every bite. The ambience is cozy and the staff were polite and attentive.

Overall, a great place for anyone craving authentic Mangalorean coastal food in Bangalore.

Yesterday, i was searching somewhere to go for lunch before heading out to cubbon park. I noticed prawns ghee roast written on the board and quickly called my brother to now of this place is good. He recommended to visit and I quickly went there and ordered prawns ghee roast and appam. The food was great and ambience was minimal and relaxing. Overall, a good experience.

Had an amazing experience at Costella!
Authentic coastal Udupi–Mangalore style fish dishes with perfect spices and freshness. The fish was super fresh and the masala tasted just like home. Definitely a must-visit place for seafood lovers!

Found my new favorite spot for Mangalorean non-veg! The star of the show was definitely the Chicken Curry—the gravy was incredible. We also ordered the Chicken Uruval and Fish Uruval; the masala was spot on and very fresh.
What makes this place even better is that it's quite affordable. If you want high-quality, authentic food without breaking the bank, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

As a Mangalorean, this is exactly the kind of food I love and expect. It’s one of the most authentic places for seafood if you’re craving true Mangalorean flavors. The prices are very reasonable compared to what you usually see — many restaurants bring fish from Mangalore and charge heavily, but this place doesn’t follow that mindset. The chefs, with their five-star restaurant background, really excel at what they do. What makes it even better is that the food feels homely, comforting, and truly satisfying.

I had mushroom ghee roast and neer dosa here.
The mushroom ghee roast was rich, spicy, and perfectly roasted, with that tasty ghee aroma.
The neer dosa was soft and airy—great for scooping up the masala without feeling heavy.
Together, it’s a comforting, flavour-packed plate.
I would definitely recommend this place to others.

This place just reminded me of Amma’s home made food back in Mangalore!
Every dish ordered was cooked to perfection and had exact coastal flavours in it!

Absolute gem in the neighbourhood. Appam and parottas are superb, so was the pulimunchi we had with kingfish. The atmosphere is chill and the owners are very friendly and up for a chat as well. Will definitely come back many more times to try more of their specialities!
