Looking for authentic Chinese food? This is the place you must visit! The restaurant is a fine-dine one and the ambience shouts about some amazing blue and gold colour tones. They are all complimented with the seats and sofas which are woody brown in colour. You’ll be immediately greeted with a lot of opulence from those lamps which look minimally appealing. The menu is in fact on the similar lines because the idea is to keep it really simple and delicious. Try the ‘Sticky Lotus Stem’ that is one awesome appetizer because it is not made like that crispy style but in fact soft and sticky, can get messy too. There are other options in Dim Sums and even appetizers which will surely impress you, so choose your pick! The mains as well is very well divided in vegetable, poultry, red meat and seafood. Each one having a curry base inspired by different parts of China. Based on your request, they’ll either make the curry too spicy or low on spice if you’ve preferences. The bar menu is also quite impressive even though it has limited options. We tried the ‘Singapore Sling’, truly well made Gin based cocktail with some Raspberry Liqueur and Strawberries. The desserts include a good range of Chinese and Asian inspired stuff, the ‘Blueberry Mochi’ is the one you must get if you’re in a mood to eat something soft, squishy and the one that has a sweet filling. You even have ‘Crème Brulée’ if you want something more familiar and an acquired taste.
Had such a great time, would definitely recommend! Bush man was our guide and he was so great and hospitable. Would definitely return!
Amazing adventure. The only tiny negative is how they gave us rum punch on river tubing and then kind of harassed us for tips. We tipped everyone of course but they were a little demanding about it. Our bus driver Joseph and tour guide Atika were the best! River tube guides were so helpful and fun. Highly recommend. Bring lots of tip money
We went on a half day Jeep excursion. It was a great experience. Our tour driver, Daman, was great! We went to a look out above Montego Bay, he took beautiful pictures. We then went through the town of Anchovy to a beautiful old church. Then on to a drive through the countryside and for a walk to a waterfall. He, again, took beautiful pictures! From there we stopped at a store/ rest stop/ lunch and had jerk chicken. He was very informative, funny, and kept our interest! We all had a great time and would recommend it! Ask for Daman!
My husband and I booked through Delta Vacations and specifically asked about my husbands weight to confirm that we would be able to participate in horseback riding. We were told yes so paid and when we showed up, we were pulled aside and told that we could not ride because we were over 220. I then told them that I was 30lbs lighter and he said I could ride but my husband could not. They said that we could ride the atvs again. We asked for a partial refund since we paid for all 3 activities and as of right now, they are refusing to refund us any money.
We booked a dune buggy excursion through the hotel we were staying at. The hotel sold it as a dune buggy driving experience, it would take about 45 minutes to get there and we would be gone from the hotel from 8:40 until 2:30. That gives you about 2 1/2 to 3 hour excursion through the jungle and beaches....... similar to a previous outing on a vacation we had in the Dominican Republic. We were picked up at 8:40 as advertised, then spent the next 50 minutes hotel hopping picking up other customers. Then it was a 45 minute drive to the location. We arrived and signed in as did a couple of other buses of clients. Then the communication system broke down. Some people left on horses, a few on ATV's, we were left sitting waiting. After an hour of 'island time' we were told we would be leaving soon. Half an hour later, it was going to be really soon. A further 30 minutes, so 2 hours in total. So three and a half hours after leaving the hotel we were directed to our 'John Deere' garden centre 4x4's........ not exactly dune buggies... the drive itself was somewhat ok, it lasted an hour and 15 minutes, including a 15 minute rest in the bamboo forest. Then it was another hour and a half back to the hotel. Thankfully it was a cloudy day or it would have been a total waste, certainly not was advertised and overall not worth the money or time.
