If you are in this old part of South Bangalore, you will know that the area could do with some really nice pubs, with reasonably good food, drinks and a dance floor. Gotcha checks all the right boxes in this department. The bar has a fairly comprehensive collection of beers and spirits. Most of the classics feature on the cocktail list and you would not be disappointed with them. Gotcha shares a kitchen most likely with another restaurant in the same building – The Chervil and so you will find some of the same dishes on the menu. The 'Curd Rice Tikki' is a good pick. The 'Tangra-Style Bhel' is a take on the version from Calcutta’s China Town. For those who love their paneer, the 'Paneer Kali Mirch Tikka' is a good bet. The 'Tempura Veggies' are decent but have to be had immediately. I personally like the 'Cuban Mojo Chicken' which is charcoal grilled and skewered along with bell peppers. It is the marinade on this one that works really well. The 'Teriyaki Chicken Wings' also was really good. The 'House Special Papri Kebab' with 'Tender Chicken Supreme' and the accompanying tamarind relish pairs well with beers. The 'Triple Decker Chicken Sandwich' is quite substantial and comes with fries and dips. A total meal in itself and a good way to wrap up an evening.

So after a really bad day I was blessed to sip on some great cocktails with a nice ambience here all thanks to the awesome {Donovan (Eat. Click. Repeat.)} who had a gift voucher he won through Dine out App! Yaaayyy! So us bunch of friends decided to go here and chill on a Sunday evening. Directions? Well I'm absolutely clueless it's somewhere in the middle of JP nagar and quite difficult to navigate as well. So we reached here and I loved the place, nice peppy music with a quirky dance floor, comfortable laid back seating arrangements and lovely menu to choose from. My friends ordered a beer pitcher, I chose a fresh connection - Vodka infused with grape juice, tangy and very hatke! For food we opted for a fries basket with dips, Cuban chicken and Banjara chicken kebabs! Absolutely loved the fries basket that had French fries, wedges and potato cheese balls crisp friend and sprinkled with a spicy masala On top. Only disappointment was the "dip" which was just a sweet chilli sauce, I was expecting a mayo or cheese dip or sour cream dip! The sweet chilli didn't go well with the fries basket and was too thin in texture. Moving on, the Cuban chicken was good, topped with cheese and more like a tikka thing. Tender chicken pieces and good to nibble on. The kebabs were too good, super soft marinated well too! {Dushyant Chillale ( )} tried a Kiwi Mint mocktail which was well presented and he loved the taste as he loves kiwi, however it didn't appeal to me though! Haha. :) I had a second round of the same cocktail cos I loved it! The staff is well informed, receptive and open to feedbacks, which is great! The service is kinda laid back though. There's a smoking area on the outside which also has nice seating arrangements and is quite breezy and less noisy! Pocket pinch was about 2.8k with alcohol as I've mentioned which is fair enough. Overall, after a super stressful Sunday I found some peace here, so I was happy. Gotcha is a great, more like a hidden gem of this area. Must check out!

The Chinese at Gotcha is excellent and the ambience is fantastic. It is worth visiting with family and friends. No alcoholic drinks available but otherwise it is fine. It is highly recommended place of Bangalore.
