Helloo Delhi in HSR Layout is part of a chain of restaurants in the city that pay homage to Delhi food and culture. The first thing that will catch your eye as you enter Helloo Delhi is the word art wall display, featuring a multi-coloured ode to Delhi. "Paranthe Wali Gali, Bhaiya, and Love Dilli", written in a combination of Hindi and English script, set the tone. The décor is minimal otherwise, and the seating consists of the usual chairs and tables as well as some sofas. The focus is on the authentic food rather than any jazz. The menu starts with drinks including 'Boondi Jaljeera', 'Gulabi Lassi' and 'Pisteywali Lassi' to put you in that Delhi food mood. Of the vegetarian starters, the classic 'Dahi Ke Kebab', 'Chatpata Tandoori Aloo' and 'Lazeez Paneer Tikka' are good choices, while non-vegetarian diners might want to try the 'Sarsoon Machhi Tikka' and 'Tandoori Mutton Chaap'. If in a larger group, the 'Non-Veg Kebab Platter' gives one the chance to taste an assortment of the restaurant’s kebab offerings. From the mains, the 'Makhmali Kofta', 'Khade Masale Ka Kadai Subz' for the vegetarians, and 'Dhaba Mutton Curry' and 'Chicken Tikka Masala' for the non-vegetarians are good choices. 'Helloo Delhi Dal Makhani' is the must not be missed side, of course! A variety of Indian breads, biryani and pulao are available to go with the typical Delhi dishes.
Had lunch there with a client. Very decent sized portions (I am a moderate eater) and the food was delicious. Their dry subji section was a little limited in my opinion. The breads -naan/kulcha and rotis were very good.
We had been here for dinner on 18th October. Ween we reached the restaurant, it was not much crowded. One of the waiter asked use to wait while he wen ahead to clear the table for us. after waiting for 10 minutes, we found that the person was attending another guest and none of the table were made clean for us to occupy the same. Finally we got our table after waiting for 20 minutes. We had to wait for another 10 minutes we were attended by another waiter (Literally) to take the order. We had to literally bed and run behind the people to get even water served. With poor ambiance no customer service it just adds to the horror story of a customer. The waiter just keeps forgetting the order and eventually we didnt get one item as ordered in the list but we were billed for the same which we got corrected later. Coming to food quality, we kind of liked it. The biriyani was good and so was dhaba style mutton. Overall i would suggest you to rather place order 1 hour ahead over call or any other food app rather than visiting this place in personal.
Have been to this restaurant a couple of times before today's lunch visit. It's an average place with average food; overall experience is average. Okay if you run out of all other options. But price of dishes is definitely above average.
We have visited that ppace with my indian friends and my girlfriend, everything from starters was so delicious and nicely served. This place is about perfect combination of excellent food and outstanding service. Since in our company there were 2 europeans they have made food enough spice to feel Indian cousine but not that spice that we feel any discomfort. So must visit! And must try! We haddahi kebab, malai koft, dal dish, paneer curry, some juices, riotta and a lot of brrad. So for 4 of us we paid 1750 rs and i left good tips. Guyz see u next time.
Visited this place last week for a family dinner. Veggies served had extra salt and on complaining, they returned it the same saying they have corrected it. Loads of mosquitoes Bread was bad Poor washrooms.
