Visited this place for lunch on a weekend. Initially around 1pm it was not crowded, but by 2pm it got very crowded and people were waiting outside.
We ordered Sikander Paneer, Chef special sizzler, fried crispy corn, Baked Rasmalai and spicy guava juice. Taste was good but price was bit on the higher side.
If you like something spicy in mocktails, try their guava juice, it's very spicy and tasty.
It's a nice place for for family gathering. Good ambience compared to many other vegetarian restaurants. No hassles. Wide variety of items, separate manu for Chinese items. Ample space, well maintained, neat and clean . Very low light music in the background. Good seating arrangements.

There was NO EXTRA SERVICE CHARGES in the bill!!!!

Food and service is excellent no words for that atmosphere must be improved cos that is the main thing a person sees when he visits for the first time. Outside look and lift maintenance must be improved.

Rest the quality and quantity of food is good??

Don’t go by the looks when you enter the building as that can be misleading. The ground floor entrance, the stair case to walk up or the lift to get into Japlaan is not great and you will think should I go here is this place going to be good etc….. But that is not their fault you can confidentially enter this hotel situated on the busy Rajaji Nagar area near Nagraj theatre parking is going to be a problem.

Once you enter the place is huge with very well decorated and good lightings. They have a lot of staff members waiting for your order. Check for the menu from their online scanner and order to the waiter.

Whatever we took the food was very tasty and of great quality. Athletics, food decorations and looks were really amazing. Was mouth watering and they have lots of varieties.

Don’t miss the SHOTS they give after you complete the food. Was one of its kind and of great taste. A must visit if you are a vegetarian.

The food was awesome we had great food variety and service was fast ?‍♀️ and they severed well the fellow who as taking KOT or order was no enthusiasm only we felt he is working forcefully
The place was clean and hygienic
But main entrance and 3rd floor entrance also not so good and lift we felt dangerous no maintained at all even entrance also should be improved

The restaurant is on the 4th floorof the building just nearby to Navarang Circle. The building Lift was not working. The restaurant is spacious and a nice hangout place for the locals nearby.
The food and the service are really good. We had been to dine on the weekday and the crowd was quite ok.

First of all the ambience is fantastic. It is located in the city centre. The food was very good and tasty . Customer service is top notch . First we ordered tomato ? soup. It was very mild in its favour. And then masala papad was good and it came with 2 pieces. The butta cigar was nice . Jalpaan special french fries were good , they were normal fries with cheese . The north indian bread was very tasty. Try stuffed items . Curry was the best part . Everything was just perfect. Matka biryani was good though it seemed very spicy but it was just correct to the pallet. Ice cream was okay i recommend not trying ice cream. As a complementary they gave a short of jalpaan. Overall it was fantastic.
One thing that may seem different is that they charge an extra 10% service tax on the bill. Though the restaurant has mentioned it clearly before only . I request the restaurant to reconsider this .
Happy Eating ?

Jalpaan was a mixed experience with some standout dishes and a few disappointments. The Butta Cigar was crisp, tasty, and had a great texture, while the Roasted Masala Papad was fresh and well-prepared. The Badami Thandai had subtle flavors and was good in quantity. The Paneer Lababdar, recommended by the waiter, was solid (8/10), but the Roti Basket was disappointing—tiny rotis that barely counted as one. Things went downhill with the Veg Pulao, which had a strong stench of reused oil, making it inedible. The manager was polite and replaced it with Curd Rice, but that too was unimpressive—mashed and seemingly made with old rice. Just when the meal seemed underwhelming, the Jalpaan arrived and was a total winner, a total 10/10 that stood out.

Overall, Jalpaan has some hits, but inconsistency in quality holds it back.

Good food and peaceful environment. Valet parking is available. But the bad part is that there was no lift from basement and the entrance is not wheelchair friendly. All the dishes tasted fresh and delicious. Planner items were yummy. You also have the option of ordering Jain food. Do try out the sizzling brownie with hot fudge and the sizzlerS.
