Mainland China is the leading Chinese cuisine connoisseur that offers an array of delectable dishes inspired from the heart of China. This chain of restaurant is a staple for Chinese cuisine enthusiasts across the country. The Chinese-style decor that is very well done with lanterns, countless pictures of dragons, Chinese landscape and statuettes make for a nice background for a family selfie. For when you want to feast on a spiffy Chinese menu, Mainland China is ideal. Start off with the dim sum platters or the dumplings here before you move on to the more filling options like ‘Prawns in Chilli Oyster Sauce’ or ‘Tsing Hoi Chicken’. There is the ‘Sliced Chicken with Kafir Lime’, the ‘Roast Duck in Chilli Plum Sauce’, the ‘Roast Lamb in Mahlak Sauce’ and more. You can pair these up with their ‘Lemongrass Fried Rice’ or their ‘Chilli Garlic Noodles’. Not too sure about what to order? No worries; the staff will readily help you out, based on your taste preferences.
It is always a pleasure to have dinner at this restaurant and it is also very closed to my residence. We love the food and decor of this place. We can’t find any mistake with the food and we thoroughly enjoy the food. I was in a mood to eat some Thai food but unfortunately there was nothing on menu, but the caption was kind enough to check with the chef came up with Thai green curry and rice and it was fantastic. This is what I like at this place they go all out to make the customer happy and comfortable. During our interaction with the caption we came to know that they have buffet lunch throughout the week, will definitely try out on of these days. After all the positive points need to discuss some of the points which needs improvements The menu is completely digitized and you need to enter your name and phone number to unlock the menu. We were not comfortable to share our number and the caption entered the managers number unlocked it for us. They insist to share your name and number we resisted. We were sitting very close to the bar counter and they were using a mixer to make cocktails and mocktails which was very noise. For example, even small coffee outlets use sound proof system while using mixer, for a restaurant like Mainland China this was missing.
I come here for first time with friends food was excellent. Large variety menu of vegetarian and non vegetarian food I specially like chicken with lemon and coriander
I visited Mainland China for Sunday lunch with family. Starting with the ambience it was typical of how Mainland China restaurants look like however the staff was more busy in serving buffets rather than take orders for ala carte. In starters we ordered Chicken with basil dumplings and chilli potato which were good in taste. In main course we had General Tao chicken, Braised chicken in smoked chilli sauce, Veg Hakka noodles and Vegetable fried rice. All the dishes were good in taste but the portions even when we ordered large were very less. Also the order had to be placed on a tablet which created problems when we needed to discuss items with family or look for options before deciding.
Thought of having Chinese while we were in Orion Mall and decided to go to Mainland China. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: THERE WERE TOO MANY MOSQUITOES. NOT A GOOD SIGN. IF I LIKED THE MOSQUITOES I WOULD RATHER EAT CHINESE ON THE STREETS. Soups & Starters: We asked for the Corn and WaterChestnuts Dimsums & the Eight Treasure Soup. The dimsums were so-so but the soup was good. Main Course: We ended up ordering the Veg. Hakka Noodles with Exotic Vegetables in Black Pepper Sauce. Both were good. No complaints here. Service: The place got a little crowded and i guess that made the waiters busy. In the beginning when there was hardly anyone the service was quick.
Preferred A la carte over Sunday Buffet.I was not disappointed.Good ambience.Jasmine Tea was good.So also Kimchi.Servers look better when they approach with smiling faces.

The Chinese food in mainland China tastes simply amazing. You can try delicious Darsaan , which is honey, fired flat noodles coated with sesame , stir fried veggies. Gorge on dim sums , prawn fried rice , and well cooked jumbo prawns . Seasonal juices, ice-cream served with pineapple wantons are just awe sum . For digestion you must have thin strip of ginger with powdered sugar and traditional Chinese teas .The quality of food is very good and fresh ingredients are used in all the preparations. At Mainland China, the food looks, smells and tastes completely different. Both cash and cards are accepted here.
Have a fine dining experience in mainland China since you will be attended by courteous waiters. The service is exceptional. The best feature about Mainland China's food is that although food tends to be little spicy, but it does not hit the stomach or burns your throat. You are sure to have the best dining experience in mainland china amidst elegant ambience while soft music reverberates in the air. Since the restaurant draws huge crowd of Chinese food lovers it is best to reserve a table in order to avoid delays.
A lot can be said about Mainland China but most of it is about its great food, which is enough to impress any serious food lover. The outlet at Orion Mall in Malleshwaram can be a decent pick for you for a Special Occasion if you want the focus to be on good food and not on ambience. The décor at Mainland China is pretty comfortable and good-looking but it’s more family-friendly than for couples. However, Mainland China is a wise choice no matter what. Just be sure to go with an appetite, food is wonderful.
