Nasi and Mee has those typically industrial style interiors that are increasingly popular in Bangalore in the recent past. Come lunch or dinner though, the long glass wall makes space look nice and casual, as you watch the traffic inch by. Start your meal off with the Young Coconut Soda – a mix of young coconut flesh in a sweetened lemon soda drink. The Crab Xiao Long Bao; there is a little ceremony to eating it which the staff will explain to you, but do not forget to add a bit of the sauce that comes with it. From the dim sum selection, the Prawn Hargau and the Mushroom and Waterchestnut Dimsum is a lovely mix of smooth and crunchy. And for that touch of spice – the Sambal Prawns is what you should be ordering. Vegetarians can consider the Cilantro Hoisin Mushroom. The Phad Thai is a mighty large portion and so you may want to consider sharing this one. And if Laksa is your comfort food, then the Prawn Laksa here will not disappoint. And if you want something different the Steamed Cantonese Fish is an interesting dish to experiment with. And you can always end on the familiar Tub Tim Grub.
This place has quite a few nice oriental food options. The prices are also not too high. Also try their wine.
it is a must visit place if you enjoy asian cuisine. the ambience is lovely, service is good. the food is yum.
My daughters simply love the food, place and the people. Their food to name some, crispy corn, Thai red curry,Thai green curry, papaya salad, glass noodle salad, Nasi Goreng, and many more are very tasty. I have tried most of their vegetarian dishes, surely enjoyed them. The place is just wonderful, very casual, just right for family and friends.
Visited last weekend in VR mall. Being Saturday night it was full, which in itself indicates it's popularity. I loved California (sushi) and ice cachang. We didn't order any drinks though many diners were enjoying these. The service boys and girls were excellent, very helpful and cheerful. Just one reason for reduced rating is the taste of the main dishes which felt indianized. I am definitely going back for the sushi though
The ambience and food (Including the wine choices ) is really good. The menu is not that exhaustive but what they have in the menu is really yummy and delicious. It was a good lunch after spending some time at crossword nearby.
