While the north Indian food isn’t as spicy as it can get, the food at Peacock is usually better than average. Set in rather ostentatious ambience, the menu is befitting of the ‘multi-cuisine’ tag. A lot of the dishes here are from the Woodstok menu (same owners I presume), so you have a bunch of continental food amidst the curries and dals. I recommend you stick to the Indian fare, such as the yakhni shorba, kababs, matar paneer, bhuna gosht, paired with rotis. To begin with, chaats are a good idea. They also serve kabab platters for sharing. For drinking, they currently have only wine and wine cocktails, apart from non-alcoholic beverages.
