A quite popular restaurant chain in the country, Rajdhani Thali focuses mostly on Rajasthani and Gujarati thalis. And for those who are looking to try something new and exciting, this is exactly where you need to be. They are known for serving authentic Rajasthani and Gujarati thalis. The place boasts of its exclusive cutlery and plush interiors. There’s a Jain option available as well. On Wednesdays, these thalis are on offer, which is a steal deal for those who have a big appetite but also want to watch their wallet. From dhokla, dal baati churma, to colourful chutney, pulao and desserts Rajdhani Thali is a wholesome meal in itself.
The food is great and south Indians enjoy the food here. The Stainless Steel Plate is huge with god knows how many Cups. You will enjoy Rajastan's Raja Food of Maharaja's of Rajastan.
We visited this place along with our family, mostly because it was a bit late and we didn't want to go out to explore other places, and moreover, it was the new year's night. Located on level 3 of Mantri mall, the restaurant is decent and serves standard Rajasthani + Gujarathi food. The taste, service and everything was good (above average, nothing stands out). The pooris/phulkas are so small that you need ask for them again and again, and then after sometime you start feeling you are eating too much, while you are not. Some dishes were excellent and some were ordinary, after all, that is what a thali is. I thought the pricing was exorbitant, despite some group discount, for an average (or probably above average, its very subjective) thali. Visit when you absolutely have to.
This was my first visit to Rajdhani restaurant chain. Before this I had Rajasthani food in another Rajasthani food chain in JP Nagar. I also had authentic Rajasthani food in Rajasthan which was obviously very delicious. So that’s why I can compare it. Rajdhani has offer of unlimited thali including Rajasthani and Gujarati food. This is not a place of authentic Rajasthani food. It is mix with Gujarati food also. All the dishes were average in taste, I cannot say a single dish I had that was awesome in taste. Be it the mitha dal or be it gatte ki sabji . Dal bati churma was not at all upto the mark. Jalebi which was given, was not at all crunchy and was not hot. The basic thing in thali is rice which was supposed to be hot but that also not hot. So this is not worth 500rs per thali. If you want wholesome food and many varieties then you can try. I advise to go on Tuesday only because only Tuesday lunch they offer 250rs per thali which is total worth of this average thali.
Always prefer to visit this place in Bangalore specially when fed up of eating South Indian dishes daily during long tour. Truly traditional Thali, menu selection awesome and preparations are authentic central India dishes. Good services.
Yesterday I went with my family here. Air-conditioning is not working. Food is pure vegetarian but the items they served were not tasty and spread is also less when compared to similar type of thali restaurant like NH8. I took thali with nearby coupons. By sitting in the table they brought and offered mango lussy normal lussy lemon water and jaljeera. We felt that is a part of thali. After completion of lunch they asked to pay for these. Actually We have even not sipped mango lussy and jaljeera. So please be catuous while taking what they offers you. Overall the experience was not good even taste wise spreadwise and even ambience also
