Placed on a very busy road, Red Onion does not look like much from the outside but is quite a large space when you step in. Parking is a bit limited, so do look for a space in the bylanes around the restaurant. Let’s start off with some of the Indian food – the 'Kadai Paneer Afghani' and the 'Palak Aap ki Pasand', which you can have with corn, mushroom, paneer or potato added in are good ways to begin the meal. The 'Dal Makhani', along with the 'Balti Murgh Methiwala' or the 'Rara Murgh' with a range of Indian breads are good choices. Moving on to the Indo-Chinese options, the 'Crispy Honey Chilli Chicken' would be one way to start your meal. There is also the 'Lat-Che Chicken' tossed in a red chilli sauce that is quite interesting. The 'Three Flavoured Prawns' as the 'Fish in Chilli Bean Sauce' are good choices to go with. If spicy Chinese is your thing, then the 'Devil’s Chicken' as well as the 'Chilli Chicken Gravies' are good options to go with. The 'Tsing Hoi Chicken' is also something you may want to pair with you the range of rice and noodle options that the restaurant has. If you would like meals in themselves, then the 'Chopsuey' options may be of interest. Red Onion also offers combos which are a great way to dine if you are on your own. These are available in Indian and Chinese options giving you quite a bit to experiment with if you are a regular visitor.
