Sichuan in Bellandur does a very brisk business in takeout and is also popular with office lunchers and the residents of the area. A large enough, well-appointed space with courteous staff and a long menu of Chinese favourites – with some Thai and Malay dishes thrown in, a meal at Sichuan is sure to be a good one! Start off with the soup course - 'Peking Hot and Sour Soup', 'Tom Yum', 'Chicken Velvet Soup' or 'Hot Dragon Soup'. 'Tofu Chilli Teriyaki' and 'Spicy Four Treasure Vegetables' for the vegetarians, and 'Kai Ga Prao', 'Chilli Honey Mustard Chicken', 'Stir Fried Fish with Chinese Greens', 'Roast Pork Sichuan' and 'Thai Basil Pork' all make for good choices among the starters. For mains, the 'Bok Choy', 'Chinese Mushroom and Tofu' or the 'Sauteed Vegetables and Chinese Greens' for vegetarian diners, and 'Hunan Five Spice Glazed Chicken', 'Bamboo Fish with Vegetables' work well with the various noodle and rice staples. There are also less commonly found options like 'Nasi Goreng' and 'Nasi Lemak' as well as 'Mee Krob'.
