Their massive buffet spread is what makes this place popular among the residents of BTM. They have covered Asian, European and Indian cuisine quite well, and it is a decent place to go have a buffet when you are pressed for time. It is a predictable menu – with dim sums, shawarma, a little bit of sushi, make-your-own-salad, different kinds of grills, and Indian curries thrown in. But, given the price, it is good value for money. And what is cool is that they have Jell-O and cotton candy on their dessert menu – the kids will surely be happy!
The buffet has an amazingly large spread to choose from with chicken, fish, prawns for non veg and kebabs, corn, potatoes and even pineapple for veg. I usually go for the buffet and the main course dishes are quite satisfactory. The best part is, both the starters and main course as well as the desserts have indian and well as western dishes.
A good bunch of staff who serves excellent food. This restaruant is not a budget one and price is bit on higher side, but for the taste and quantity the price is OK. This is good for family gatherings and team get together. Excellence ambience they provide and is very near to Forum and other main areas. Good for couples, family, friends etc. Both ala carte and buffet is available.
I recently visited this restaurant 2 times. I checked the online ratings which was 4+, and it was correct. Restaurant offers various discounts as well. food and service is very good with the given cost.
Today 3 families met for lunch to celebrate my father-in-law birthday. We spoilt our day thanks to SOHO staff. We were told starters would be served at table and no one cares after that. I had to get up at least 9 times and go ask for food to be served. We were at the mercy of the service staff there. When I asked for the manager, he clearly said that it takes time to make good food and we need to wait. The manager said he was also the owner and hence could not escalate further. The so called owner did not even introduce himself or tell his name. He did not want to hear our concerns. He said that we need to wait till they finished cooking and they seemed to be cooking for over 30 minutes per dish. Nobody was attending our table and picking up any plates. The table got crowded with plates and we had to call the so called manager and nameless owner to show the pathetic state of service after which their staff started picking plates. The main course was a waste of money. Overall frustrated and a celebration totally spoilt by SOHO.
Most folks eat from the Buffet here, but we chose to order from the menu. The Food and Service were top notch. Our waiter was one of the best that we have had in many years of dining. The only down side was the lack of beer and wine on their menu.
