A restaurant that has been around for ages, it is one that is nestled deep inside a residential area and can be easy to miss. With nothing much of an ambience to speak of, here is a place that will more than makeup for it when it comes to the food. The 'Peking Cantonese Chicken' is a good way to start as are the 'Chicken and Prawn steamed Wontons'. I have always liked the 'Crackling Spinach Chicken' as well as the substantial 'Dragon Rolls in Chicken and Prawn'. If you prefer a toned down version, the 'Spring Rolls' are a good choice, though they can be a bit greasy. One of the dishes that the chef here is really proud of is the 'Chicken Kaiche'. They serve up a large range of soups and the 'Spicy Jet Soup' as well as the 'Lemon Coriander Soup' are good to try. You could go with the 'Manchow Soup' and the 'Button Mushroom Soup' if you are looking for something more substantial. For the mains, for meat eaters, you have the 'Chicken in Taipei Sauce', the 'Chicken with Mushroom and Bamboo shoots' as well as the 'Sliced Chicken in Chilli Bean Sauce' that are great. The 'Roasted Chilli Lamb' is good too. Vegetarians have a lot to choose from – from the popular 'Golden Fried Babycorn' to the steamed or fried wontons and momos as well as the 'Kong Po Potato' is what you will want to order. Service and food quality can be a little sketchy at times.
I must have visited this place more than 10 times n last couple of years and i have enjoyed every bit of it. My favourite dishes are spinach crackle chicken, dragon chicken and chop suey. The owner is very attentive and visits each and every table to make you feel special.
This is the best Chinese I feel in Frazer Town area. Loved every dish prepared by them. Also the people are nice. Takes a bit long time to serve but then when the food is great it doesn't matter.
Dined here a few days back with a few friends. The Veggie Schezwan Noodles and Potato in hot garlic sauce were great, but the Fried Babycorn was pretty disappointing:(
It is overall disappointment. Though assured about basement parking, which can not accommodate more than three cars. Overall decor not up to the mark. The food, highly disappointing. Beginning with the soup, which hit my throat with high concentration of synthetic viniger in hot water, with a few drowning pieces of chicken. I should no go with the details with rest of our ordered items. Total disappointment.
Both the veg and no-veg fare is good. Better than the regular fare at other chinese restaurants. Try the malaysian noodles. Service needs to be improved.
