The Bier Library is a massive space, but what I loved instantly about it, is the fact that no matter how crowded it gets, you still have most of the privacy you need at your table. They have some lovely live gigs over the weekends and that packs the place up. Service can get slightly spotty at such times but nothing that would put you off too much. They have around 6 beers on tap on average and you will find something or the other that will work for you. For me, it was the 'Weiss' and the 'Stout' that worked across two visits. Getting to the food, you have the Indian inspired mezze board – which comes with pita, curried hummus, spicy mint and peas mash and some tempered yogurt. Goes brilliantly well with the beer. There is also the Chakna board, with 'Spicy Papad', 'Nippat', 'Congress Nuts', 'Channa Chor' etc. The 'Truffle-parmesan Dusted Fries' are a great choice. The 'Curried Onion Rings' are a good choice too. Vegetarians will like the 'Stuffed Chilli Bajjis', 'Marinara Mozzarella Sticks', 'Arbi Tuk' as well as the 'Jalapeno Spiced Sautéed Mushrooms'. There is a wide range of choice in the small plates section - The 'Kerala Beef Fry', the 'Pork Belly Chilli Roast', the 'Pandi Masala' (yes, I love my pork). There is a lot more – from sandwiches and burgers to pastas, to curry bowls from across the world, and a range of biryanis too. Among the desserts, you want to try are 'Serradura', 'Almond Ricotta' and the 'Pannacotta Duo' in a range of flavours.
