The Bistro @ Global Village

The Bistro @ Global Village is a restaurant in Mylasandra, Bengaluru serving Chinese, North Indian and Mughlai. Known for Chinese dishes; ideal for family meals and group outings.

Bistro offers a premium dine-in experience near the Global Village back gate and is a great spot for seafood lovers. We went there mainly to try their seafood, and it didn’t disappoint. The Vanjaram Tawa Fry was fresh with perfectly balanced masalas, though the portion size could be better. Butter Garlic Naan with Chicken Kaala Mirch was a standout—flavorful and cooked to perfection. The Prawn Fried Rice was also impressive. Service was top-notch, and despite being a weekday evening, the ambience was calm and peaceful. Ideal place for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

We stayed at this restaurant for two days and were truly impressed with the service and the food. The entire experience was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good food and a pleasant dining experience.

Must try:
Veg Kolhapuri
Paneer Chatpat
Butter Roti
Baby Corn Rava Fry (Starter)
Coconut Pudding (Dessert)

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The ambience was warm and creating the perfect setting for a relaxed meal.
The food was delicious, and we especially appreciat the excellent service.
Every dish was cooked to perfection with a great balance of spices.

We tried:
Chilli chicken 9/10
Chicken Urval 5/10 (It was cooked in Chinese style)
Chicken lollipop 5/10 ( It had only batter and barely chicken in it)
Stuffed cheese mushrooms 10/10 (It was perfectly cooked and tasted really great)
Veg Chettinad 10/10 (It was really amazing)
Chicken kolapuri 9/10
Garlic Naan 10/10
Chicken Fried Rice 10/10

Our waiter was attentive and friendly, even helping us choose a dish that turned out to be a great recommendation.
The pricing was standard, offering good value for the quality and quantity.
The only drawback is that they no longer serve alcohol, Biryani was not available and did not have any desserts.
Overall a good dining experience and we’d definitely come back.

Recently visited this restaurant located near global village backside gate.
Restaurant sounds like modern but menu is more Indian.
We ordered paneer ghee roast and neer dosa. Service was fast. When we visited only 2 tables are occupied and all other tables are empty.
Prices are very expensive and not to the expectations.
Parking is bit difficult and street side parking

Too oily food, delayed service, less staff and no point wasting money to get such bad communication from the incharge.

Went for Team lunch with 12 pax and all had bad experience.

Below average vegetarian food. Excess oily food preparation
Veg Soup was pathetic with oil floating.
Babycorn manhurian was bland and very oily.
Veg Kadai and Kerala Paratha, though oily, was manageable.
Veg Mushroom Handi was very spicy and not prepared well. Also found fine plastic strand piece over a foot long.
Overall, a bad experience leaving a wierd taste sensation. No tandoor options available citing non availability of cook. Seems to be a pending issue since 4 months. Food not served in ground floor and hardly any footfalls.
NOT RECOMMENDED

Food could have been much better... moreover it was very oily (the only place where I even had oily soup!). Service also could improve. Not a place I would visit again.

The food in this restaurant was quite good and tasty. The menu is also a bit extensive with a variety of options including seafood. It is a bit on the pricier side not too expensive either , but it's worth it.
While the food was good , the service was a bit late and they made us wait a lot for the food and it wasn't a particularly busy night either, the restaurant had a few customers .
The customer interaction is fine but they need to attend to the customers better and pay more attention and serve better.
They also have screening for matches on the rooftop dining.
Overall it's a great place to visit for dinner with family and friends.
