As the name suggests, the whole place is an eco-friendly zone made out of up cycled wood and stabilised mud blocks. The restaurant has pretty planters placed all around the place. Interestingly, all the ingredients used in preparing the food here are sourced from their own farms and they apparently do not use factory refined grains, artificial colouring and additives in their preparations. The millet pizzas here are crunchy with depth, specially the mixed millet thin crust Pizza that has fresh farm toppings. The raw cocoa and millet brownies are surprising soft and flavourful each time. The staff takes time to explain the health benefits of the food that we are eating and recommends dishes that might help our ailing system.
This restaurant in the heart of the Bangalore city is treat for healthy food lovers. The ambience is very nice and green. Food also has very local delicacies to try. Staff are very friendly and service was good too. It is easily accessible by metro and has ample parking space, if you are driving down yourself.
Perfect place for a family lunch out on a week end. The traditional dishes like millet dosa, khichdi and rural mix of salads is inspiring. The relentless table service of assorted starters and bread makes you relish and over eat too! Still you do not cheat your diet regimen!! Great service and well mannered staff. The red rice and rasam is unique!! The sweets from beet root and TIL chikki makes you to just keep on munching and slurping.
Planned for an ad-hoc lunch outing with my family (including kids between 5-9 years).Loved the variety of dishes served and the ambience. Most important was live counters that served hot dosas raagi rotti and obbattu.Kids Loved the obattu the most. There was enough space to move around between tables which is generally missed at other restaurants.
It is a buffet style restaurant and I hate to buffet for food. However, I became a regular. Because, if you judge food by the quality of the ingredients and the care being taken in its preparation, this is the place to go. Basing their menu on seasonal and regional availability – the _cuisine du marché_ approach – it is limited in choice but offers real delights in taste. (The owner says to have been inspired in Germany ... which gave me one of these rare moments of patriotic pride.) However, the service concepts spoils the experience a bit. There is an almost hasty attitude of effectivity (I know ... German influence ...) which makes me feel slightly uneasy. But as the stuff is overwhelmingly friendly you just have to communicate you really want to take your time ...
