The Open Box is a few years old but constantly works on revamping itself. What I love are the interiors – one of the first places in the city to create Instagrammable corners all around the space. Whether you are a large group, a quiet couple, out on a working lunch date with your laptop or a family outing, you will find a space here that you will like. On the menu – start with the 'Gunpowder Fries' and the 'Jalapeno and Cheese Melts'. Both work so well with anything from the bar. The 'Cold Sesame Noodle Salad' with the add-ons of chicken and prawns is also a good one. The Open Box does some super things with 'Maggi', if you would like to give it a whirl. The 'Coriander Hummus and Pita' and the 'Ghee Roast Chicken Tacos' are substantial appetizers to dig into. There are some interesting burgers, pizzas and pastas on the menu. The 'Vada Bao' and the 'Spicy Mexican Paneer Pizza' may be things you want to try.
Good but not as per prices... Also staff is not so courteous enough to understand requirements if specific details needs to be provided (like preparing Jain food etc.)
I had lunch here and just ordered 3 apps and a tea. Service was very very slow, even though there was only one other person eating, and many staff around. But the food was alright.
Visited with a bunch of my friends and ordered buttermilk fried chicken. It was so burnt and lacked salt. They refused to replace it. We ended up cancelling our mains, just paid for this dish and left. I don't understand why they changed the menu and probably their cooks as well.
We happened to come here by chance. We had to wait for a table at the nearby Misu (both share the same management). TOB interiors have some really interesting details. You end up noticing the details especially the lighting. They had a DJ at noon and he had a good choice of music. The staff were very friendly and attentive staff. And in all, a very energetic place. Full of fun vibes. A nice place to hang out. Oh they also have a pool/snooker table for those who are interested.
Visited this place on a Saturday night. It was packed with people but with a prior reservation, we managed to find a seat for 6. The ambience is lively and the DJ is good. We ordered Meri Cheese Teri Chilli, Paneer Bhutto Samosa, Veg Sushi and Fried rice with veggies. The Chilli and Samosa were delicious. The other items were decent. The staff was polite but it took a lot of time to get their attention.
