Zodiac at Fortune Trinity Select Whitefield, nice ambience, large dining setup, retro chairs, well spaced between tables. Dinner buffet at zodiac had a small spread with two veg and two non-vegetarian starters, one live counter for a Indian egg chicken burger, and two cold salad sets with tandoori chicken and cold fish. Overall the taste was acceptable, nothing to complain about. Main course had twonnon veg and two veg gravies, a noodle, a pasta, a mutton biryani, a white rice, curd and dhal as well as rotis to order. Which is again alright, nothing g very special about the dishes or the taste. Desserts had a brownie type pudding which was one of the best dish of the day. Rest were again a routine ones. All in all a average spread, but content ok for one dinner, cannot continue everyday - given it is in SEZ, where many tech companies are setup.
The Lunch buffet was very nice. There were lot of choices . panipuri was great , chat was good , lot of choices in vegetable curries , Matar makhana curry was extremely good. There were lot of choices of sweet around 10 different varieties. Gajar halwa was really good .Jalebi rabri and rasogolla was nice. It was one of best buffets I had in recent times.
Just tried their restaurant during lunch time and decided not to go again!Extremely poor service by poorly trained restaurant staff..Did see al the suited, booted Managers in the lobby but got a distinct feeling that they do not bother about nitty gritties of things.Their attitude...After all what needs attention in a daily buffet?Very unlike an ITC group hotel I have ever seen!
We had been to this place recently with business guest for the buffet dinner. I was surprised that more than 65% of the liquor in the menu was not served in the hotel.Rating 2 here only for the food, remaining three stars were taken away by your waiting staff and management.Waiting staff there definitely need training and are very poor in communication and waiting skills. One of the incidents that happened here is that one of the waiting staff served starter made out of prawns. the taste was excellent and mind blowing. I asked them to serve few more plates of those starters. Later another waiter comes to me and says that is not part of your buffet and is chargable. I asked him why did you serve it in the first place, staff said one of the guys in the table ordered. We were only 9 in the table. I asked him to point me to the person who ordered it and he had no answer. This is the quality of staff they have.I ended up ordered one more plate as the taste was awesome and paid for only 1 plate as they waived off the other as it was their mistake. We also were here for the afternoon lunch and ordered naan which was never served and never billed.Waiters here need to improve on their communication and english speaking skills. If you are a guest from outside India, then I would strongly not recommend this dining place as you will suffer if you go through Ala-carte.I have also given them feedback to improve, not sure if they have improved as I never heard back from the management.Overall food is very good including varieties of pastries and sweets.I wouldn't visit this place again, unless they have fixed their waiting staff problem.
I had breakfast here during my stay of 6 days, and a dinner here one night. The food overall is decent but not spectacular. The convenience factor generally outweighs the disadvantage you have by not taking the time to go to another place. I did have dinner at other area restaurants, so I would try to find something else for one night at least.
