The heart of Sector 10 is no less than a foodie hub. You will find tony cafes dotted in the small space where the erstwhile coal depot used to be. But things have truly changed and cafes sit cheek by jowl here. In this potpourri, is Lah Di Dah. A small pathway leads you to the entrance and as you step indoors, you are taken in by the mustard yellow sofas, a huge concrete structure that looks like a tree and faux grass on one entire wall. They definitely have tried their best to cheer up an otherwise dull area. The menu - appetizers, soups, salads, pizzas, wraps and main course - traverses through multiple cuisines and has picked up popular favourites on the way. You will find Continental, Indian, Chinese, Italian as well as Mediterranean fare. We arrived for a late lunch and opted first for the ‘Corn Chops’ which was crunchy and good. The menu also offers a selection of tandoori snacks, clearly aiming to please all palates. The much recommended ‘Atta Chicken’ – a whole chicken slowly cooked in a tandoor – arrives looking like a hedgehog that is spent considerable time in the oven. Full marks for presentation. The flavour was good though we felt it was a bit chewy. While the menu offers ‘Heavy Munchies’ including a heavy-duty burger, do try the pizzas. The ‘Red Rocket Pizza' was perfectly crisp and we relished each bit. For a small place, they do pack in a lot. It might be styled like a cafe but it rolls out a full restaurant menu.
