Nice place for Lunch. Worth spending money. Taste is very good and the main thing is the variety of dishes they provide for the meal. If you are a team of four then order different meal options. We celebrated a birthday there. The staffs are extremely cooperative.

The WORST. Please AVOID this restaurant. It was total waste of time and money for me. Doesn't even deserve a star.

1.The place is not well maintained. It's too old and not cleaned. They won't even clean the takes after someone eats.

2. The order takes too much time. It took nearly 1hr for our order to come.

3. The sea food is not upto the mark. All the dishes tastes the same. The worst seafood I ever had in Chennai

We order the Mahavirindhu(799/-) and one fish pollichath(700). Was not even worth it.
Food not cooked properly. All the dishes were cold. You can see the masala is not even cooked correctly. Please avoid everyone.

The ambiance was very good. Service could have been better, we have to cancel a few orders because of delay.
Most of the items are taste ver good, but squid tasted like it's 1 day old. Crab rasam, fish variety and tandoori chicken everything tasted really good.
I found hair in the egg and rice, I did not expected that in a restaurant like Aazhi. They should really improve the service and quality.

An average restaurant. We ordered nethili meen fry which only was good. Vanjram fry was pathetic. Mutton and chicken biryani was very average. No flavour at all. Overall i would give 2 stars for food. Service was ok not bad. We were bit disappointed being here after a long tiresome diwali purchase.
Only good thing was the ambience.

I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone ?
I would have rated zero!
Waiting time in weekdays? I have never seen such a small crowd and insane wait time, once I ordered they came back to me after 10 mins to reconfirm the order!
Food was pathetic, I had 800 rupees seafood meals for two!
Kadamba was good!
Crab soup ? had sand and small stones in it ?
All the other items were pathetic!

I ordered fish meals from Azhli restaurant and was extremely disappointed. The fish fry was so dry and refried . Gravies were spoiled and and few are edible. The mayo provided seems tobe curdy and not fresh. If there's no star rating i would definitely go for it. Totally waste of money and don't prefer this restaurant

I was planning to visit here for long time but that waiting is wasted and disappointed after tried here.

In the name of 2 share plate for 799, it is total scam. Starter or side dish is very limited and not sure how they can say it for 2 people. Very much pizzed off by asking rice which is mentioned as unlimited. In a small bowl, we have to ask every time and at some point we fed up of asking

Taste - Except fish gravy, karuvatu gravy, rest all not great. Worst part is fish fry which they provided. Not worth and no taste at all.

Our bad time, they said Nandu rasam is finished, but I sit for lunch at 12:45 and couldnt believe that.

I couldnt recommend and price is high. Better we could do ala carte somewhere to try some tasty food. I rarely comment for negative review but here I am posting here to make others aware of the taste and experience.

2 rating is for the waiter and the fish gravy and nothing else.

Terrible Experience – Worst Service Ever!

I had one of the most disappointing dining experiences at this restaurant. We ordered **three seafood meals**, and everything from start to finish was a disaster.

First of all, the **service was extremely poor** — there seemed to be **no proper staff** available. There was a **serious lack of manpower**, and the few people working there had no coordination or sense of responsibility. We had to **wait endlessly** just to get someone’s attention.

When the food finally arrived, it turned out to be **completely wrong**. The **wrong items were delivered**, and even in the meals that were brought, **several items were missing**. The staff didn’t even bother to check the order properly before serving.

To make things worse, the **maintenance of the place was horrible** — **no fan, no AC**, and the restaurant felt hot and uncomfortable. The **overall hygiene and quality were unacceptable**, and the seafood didn’t even taste fresh.

**Highlights:**

* Worst service ever experienced
* Lack of manpower and poor management
* Wrong food delivered
* Missing items in meals
* Long waiting time
* No fan or AC, poor maintenance
* Very low food quality
