Awesome food. Value for money. Enjoyed the Biriyani feast alone. Usually I used to waste ordering a lot as i eat alone. But eat. cant each much. But this biriyani grast combo had Chicken+Mutton+Prawn Biryani each cups + chicken fry + chicken 65 + egg + many more. And its very reasonable.
Subodh is very good at service.

Had gone to Chennai for a dance performance. This restaurant was very conveniently located near where we were staying. Got lunch first- a simple meal of rice, tomato pappu (basically dal) and omelettes (very big in size). One of us also tried mutton liver fry. The staff was great, most of whom were Bengali so brownie points for us! They served generous amounts of ghee each time we asked for it. All the dishes were great in taste. So much so that we went for dinner again. This time tried pure Andhra cuisine of malabar paratha, seer fish fry (which was amazing), chicken ghee roast and another chicken item the name of which has escaped my memory now. Spicy yet surprisingly addictive. 10/10. They have an ice-cream parlour, breakfast place and a dhaba in the same complex to serve all kinds of palates. Their reputation and service can easily be deciphered from the queues they have in front of their gate almost whenever you go.

This is a very nice restaurant with plenty of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
Tandoor dishes are served on the upper floor. The staff are courteous and the prices are reasonable. There is a large car park outside, making it easy to get there. I had mutton biryani and prawn masala — a real treat!
Absolutely recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Family Lunch at Amaravati
A Delicious Andhra Feast
We were searching for a good lunch spot for a family outing and overheard someone mention Amaravati. A few people warned us that Andhra cuisine might be too spicy and heavy, but we decided to give it a try and we’re so glad we did!

The food was absolutely delicious, with moderate spice levels that made everything flavorful without being overwhelming.

Briyani Virundhu
The mutton biryani and mutton chukka were outstanding. The addition of podi with ghee was a lovely traditional touch.

Non-Veg Meals
A great spread! The fish fry was very good. Except for crab, almost every non-veg item was included, which made it feel like a complete feast.

Chicken Biryani
Tasty, but the quantity felt a bit less compared to other dishes.

Prawn Biryani
The prawns were good, but the masala and prawns didn’t blend as well as we expected.

Chapathi & Prawn Curry
A super hit at the table everyone loved it!

Nethili Fry
Extremely tasty and went perfectly with rasam. Well cooked and flavorful. The masala was more like a chicken pakoda style rather than a typical Chicken 65 masala and we loved that twist.

Mutton Chukka (again, worth mentioning!)
Tender, juicy, and perfectly spiced. One of the best dishes we had.

Veg Meals
Every item in the veg meals was tasty and satisfying.

Brain Masala
Soft, buttery texture with rich gravy and extra spice excellent for those who enjoy bold flavors.

Andhra Chicken
It was okay, but not our personal favorite compared to the other dishes.

They served us a welcome juice at the start don’t miss it! It worked as a refreshing appetizer.

? Ambience & Service
The ambience was good overall, though the AC could have been stronger and the music selection wasn’t great during our visit.
But the service truly stood out. A staff member named ‘Saradh’ took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. Big thanks to him — 5/5 stars for his service alone!

Nothing disappointed us. The food was tasty, satisfying, and well portioned with balanced spice levels. A great place for a hearty family meal if you enjoy Andhra-style cuisine.
Definitely worth visiting again! ??️
