Copper Kitchen, located in Porur, Chennai, is a pioneering restaurant that serves delectable meat cuts and Biryanis. These dishes are not only delicious but are healthy too; some of the recipes are nutritious too, for instance, ‘Hyderabadi Mutton Haleem’ is a delicious and nutritious meal made of meat, cracked wheat, ghee (clarified butter) with all lentils and spices and cooked on a low flame for six to eight hours. Some other dishes that are must-haves are ‘Irani Shawarma Roll’ and ‘Dajaj Shish Taouk’.
Had visited the restaurant recently and enjoyed the food served. But only problem was the way service was provided. Except that a must place to try out...
Visited here two Times for team lunch as it has an affordable buffet option on weekdays. And this ramzan season, they provided a iftaar pack for 249 which was quite a deal. Loved their huge list of offering. Pulpy grape juice, water bottle, quarter bbq, pasta, mutton briyani, parotta with chicken gravy, mutton haleem, dates, cut fruits, and payasam. Loved the pulpy juice, pasta, haleem, and briyani. Though the bbq chicken was very small, nevertheless it was a great deal.
Placed order for home delivery. We ordered noodles, fried rice and few other chinese dishes. The food was average. The food was delivered on time. But quality can improve a lot. The price was too high for the quality.
The food was below average. But still we were fine with it the attitude of a particular person was the spoiler amongst all these petty issues. Mr. Ashu was the name and his attitude as well as the way he spoke to us reminded me of some local goon. Will never come back for this pathetic roadside attitude of this person. We ordered for fresh lime soda at last which was flat when we complained he barged in and made faces and spoke in such a way as if he was extortion is being done and he just made faces and with pathetic attitude took them off the table without even discussing with us about the issue.
We went for a team lunch to Copper Kitchen and were not disappointed, the starters Gobi 65, Chicken Dim Sum , stir fried Broccoli mushroom were all good and so was the main course of Egg Masala, Chettinad Chicken, Murg Musallam and Paraths, the service is efficient and the pricing is right, overall a good place with good variety of cuisines.
