Took mutton meals. Got mutton liver thokku, mutton spare parts (boti) thokku, mutton thokku, chiken gravy, fish gravy, sambar, rasam, ladies finger side, kesari bath, curd, papad and unlimited rice. All mutton starters looked same but tasted different thou. Meal was decent, service was good, owner stood and was asking / addressing if anything needed. Overall the food was good.

Worst across all the aspects start with food mutton briyani looks & taste wise fried rice very dry & mutton piece is very hard. They changed couple times still bad. Prawn is very ok ok taste, chicken lolipop is good, ordered curd rice for kid it’s VERY VERY BAD rice is very old they mixed curd & served. Smell is also started coming ?. Next service is VERY BAD not coordination, served briyani waiting for plate ?. Ambience is ok. Other couple of office team also felt same. Not recommended

One of the best place I recently visited. The hotel food was so good and delicious. Everyone must try and their service is so good.

For all the politeness and prompt service, my takeaway from here is that the chicken biryani I had gave me intense stomachache and did not go down well. I usually have no problems with food so this was really surprising and not in a good way.

Please consider this as a critical review and update your quality standards. I will not be returning to your place unless it is recommended by at least seven different people at different times in a year.

I would rate this place as a decent nonveg resto. We went ahead with mutton biriyani combo and fish curry with white rice. Fish curry (vanjaram) was homemade style and we liked it. Mutton biriyani was tasty. Chicken BBQ pieces we got was slightly dry than expected and could have been better.

We got a complimentary chicken soup which was at perfect taste. Service turned out to be friendly and above par.  Maybe the timing we went was non rush hours turned out and worked well for us.

I visited your restaurant today and ordered a takeaway non-veg meal for Rs 269.00. Unfortunately, I found the quality, quantity, and taste disappointing, making it feel overpriced. It would be better to either improve the quality or adjust the pricing—ultimately, the choice is yours. However, I won’t be coming back again.

Food is good. A bit spicy on the stomach after eating. But I would still say food is good .

The biggest problem of this restaurant is the staff and their service. Highly chaotic. Duties are not dedicated. Everyone is doing everything.

The manager instead of managing and assigning the table is just wearing a shirt, pant tie and roaming around lost. Most of the time he is serving food.

The person taking the orders is serving food. The actual servers are just shouting at each other.

No tables are assigned to the servers. Each and everyone is just roaming around everyother table

Everytime u ask them anything they say Rush hours rush hours.

The only people creating the rush is the staff itself. People are just eating the food. Only these staffs are creating the chaos.

First of all the food is in such high quantity that the people comming there would continuously eat, and not create noise.

Continuous the staff shout at each other's giving orders, that too unessasarily. Everyone wants to do everything. And when ever they don't want to do they will assign it to people who are not from TN( staff from other states)

Instead of eating the food quietly we were looking at these people roaming around shouting. This place is not a restaurant it's a chaos.

Initially the manager told us to wait for the table to be free. We waited for 10min and than we saw people just entering and standing behind people eating the food and waiting for them to leave. They sat on the table even before it was clean.

Overall, i would say avoid this place if you want a restaurant exp. If you want to have food as if they are serving free food than its your place to be.

Price of fish meal is 399 and chichen meal is 349. So for a 800 rupees meal for 2 people This place is not worth it

I had the pleasure of dining at Karaikudi Restaurant recently, and it was a true explosion of flavor! The menu offered a delightful exploration of Chettinad cuisine, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. For the mutton lover, the mutton meals were a dream come true. Three distinct mutton dishes offered a delightful variety. Each dish boasted its own unique flavor profile, showcasing the versatility of mutton in Chettinad cooking. the Fish Meals was also very good. The inclusion of prawns, crab, and fish fry provided a delightful variety. Alone with the condiments prawns, crab and a fish fry also included.
