While star hotels might have a few street food dishes here and there, or a festival once in a while, street foods are meant to be on the streets. But the folks at Westin have taken a challenge and have set up a restaurant around the street food of Asia and India. Be it the seating, with almost every table having a plug socket for you to keep working or the unobtrusive waiters who do not keep asking you if you need something, to plates below your table, for you to decide if you need a plate for yourself or if you want to polish the dishes of serving plate, everything about the restaurant is fresh and welcoming and ticks all the right boxes. The 'Amul Cheese Toast' is an excellent starter with loads of cheese on toast with chillies and tamarind sauce. The 'Smoky Butter Chicken' is another stand out dish, primarily because the smokiness comes from the dish and not some fancy contraption to artificially smoke it. The 'Podi Idly' with ghee takes a turn with 'Vegetable Korma'.
