It is a dim-lit space with minimalistic décor and comfortable seating arrangements. A splash of black colour with the hues of multicolour gives this place an inviting vibe. The cost-effective menu is another reason to binge more without a second thought. Start your meal with 'Poh Pia Roll', 'Crispy Chilli Corn', 'Dragon Chicken' or 'Golden Fried Prawns'. For mains, opt for 'Spicy Garden Vegetables', 'Meat Cooked with Basil Leaves', 'Mandarin Fish' and 'Mee Goreng'.
Great place, excellent service and good food. The team were very helpful in choosing dishes and the service was quick.
We had a great time at orange wok, Velachery. It is recommended to book a table before you go since it gets full easily. Open parking space is limited in front of restaurant. Probably you might have to roam a little if it gets full.
There are so many varieties and options to try out and mostly to found grate to taste. Chilli basil fish, chicken sausage fried rice, Singapore chilli prawn and manchow chicken soup are few examples.....
This place has good of food. The speed of serving is excellent and the food is also delicious.I feel people fond of asian food should try this place.I suppose that they sometimes shouldn't serve hakka noodles instead of megoring but when they serve megoring it tastes amazing.
Once again I rushed to Orange wok located at Velacherry 100fts road on a weekday eve crossing the city traffic to check out their Thai dishes served during Thai food fest. And yes, it’s absolutely worth rushing. As soon as I stepped in I started checking out their ambience. The place is pretty descent to occupy good crowd. Their signature bruce lee wall painting is one attractive factor. They have a open kitchen for us to peep inside it. Now coming to the menu. Thai food fest was happening only for a very little period of time(probably a month) but they prepared an attractive separate menu card with Thai dishes. Dishes we ordered are * Sweet corn veg soup * Virgin Pina Colada * Summer cooler * Beef salad * Spicy thai prawns * Grilled fish * Gai hor baitaey * honey glazed cottage cheese * Bamee phad namprik pow * Jungle fried rice * Steamed fish * Icy lemon popslice * Watermelon popsi * Fried ice cream * Pumkin custard Virgin Pina colada and Summer cooler is a great choice for mocktails. Grilled is so perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Gai Hor Baitaey is basically chicken started where chicken is deep fried with spicy masala in Thai style (simiar to chicken 65). Honey glazed cottage cheesse is top notch in taste and it’s a heavenly dish for all vegetarians. Had one of the tastiest fried rice here(Jungle fried rice). When it comes to orange wok my all time fav is Nasi Goreng (Philippines national food) and now the Jungle fried rice is as good as Nasi Goreng. Steamed fish is a typical Thailand dish and I didn’t like the taste personally. Fried ice cream is average in taste but Pumkin custard is a greast dessert from the Thai food fest menu. Overall, Ambience - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Taste - 4/5
