Located in Perungudi. It is a casual dining restaurant with simple interiors, ambient lighting and casual seating arrangements. The wooden polished décor all over the restaurant looks elegant. It specialises in Arab cuisine with a cost-effective menu. Feast on 'Phuket Fish', 'Achari Paneer Tikka', 'Dragon Prawns', 'Mushroom Salt n Pepper', 'Veg Tandoori Platter' and 'Samak Mabatha'.
Worst experience ever .I have had a better experience even at a road side shop. We had placed our order for starters . It took more than 45 minutes for the starters to arrive. We called the waiter "Mahesh" who didn't even respond. After waiting for almost 45 minutes , they literally threw the main course at us . He placed the biryani and naan on plates that were already used(that had chicken bones). There was an another waiter who claimed to be a restaurant manager who didn't even bother to say sorry. Even the restaurant manager said they are not bothered about what we review or rate the restaurant . When I said i cant pay the bill, he was very rude saying "oh so the food is compliment !! have it " . They have incapable people in their restaurant who cant even apologize to their customer. Waiting for the order wasn't the issue , the way they behaved and served was atrocious. I cant even rate a single star but I m doing since it is mandatory.
I was a regular to sea shell greams road branch... This place is very close to my office... So go to this place at least once in a fortnight... The place is crowded and you need to prepared to wait for sometime... I love their Kerala parrota and egg curry... It is a standard order for me during lunchtime.... Dinner I go for their grill chicken... The grill chicken is nice and has good flavors... It goes extremely well with the hummus and mayonise they serve.... Their barbecue fish is also delicious... When we grow in group our standard order is raan... The lamb leg which is barbecued to perfection.... It is the best thing to order especially if you are a non vegetarian.... A good place to take your family and friends
They have a wide variety of dishes which makes it interesting if you like trying out different dishes everytime. But the big choice gets you confused as you can't try a lot even though you would want to. The meat they serve is tender and juicy and very flavourful. Being a biryani lover, didn't enjoy the Arabic type at this place. It wasn't bad but not upto the expectations. Overall good service and staff is very friendly and patient.
I was in chennai for work and was staying in a hotel opposite to this restaurant. I found this restaurant better than other options available nearby. It had good northindian and arabian food menu. I had food for almost 3 weeks so one can imagine, i had explored quite a few options from the menu. Pros - Good food, good service, lot of options. I liked the arabian dishes like hamas chicken, kosi rice with meat, fish. The soups are good. Northindian food is nice. Cons - To my taste they add too much of garlic, i had to ask to not put garlic in my food.
order anything and it will disaapoint you. There are better sea food restaurants in Chennai with much better food service. We ordered biryanis , juice , hummus and pita , soups and starters each dish was either having bad dressing or marination and their service was also really not upto mark. Telling them one dish was a pain even for a spoon or plates or evening water. Cutlery were old , glasses had dust in them. Would suggest not to come here and go somewhere else for your Seafood needs
