Built like an Edwardian Hall around the central chandelier, The Residency wears its theme diligently. The large space does make it easy to navigate around the buffet, which seems rather unexciting on the variety front. A well executed selection of mains makes up for the limp salad and sparse appetisers. Courtesy Dakshin, the South Indian food is excellent, as is the international fare. North Indian dishes are just about serviceable but the staid desserts will leave you wanting.
