After listening to a lot of reviews (and reading them online as well), my friend and I decided to go to #thirstycrow for a drink and lunch. At first the place was super empty to think of, on a Saturday afternoon! We decided to take the couch. The menu looked very interesting. We ordered pepper prawns (Chinese style), sautéed sausages and calamari rings which comes with fries. All the dishes tasted good. The only feedback we had were that the dips needed to be spicer for the calamari rings. The prawns were slightly undercooked, you wouldn’t notice if you’re not an avid seafood eater. The masalas didn’t exactly get soaked in the prawns. For dessert we ordered the brownie with vanilla icecream. I think they heated a frozen brownie so it was super hard that it broke like a biscuit after a really hard try! I asked them to replace it and the next brownie that came was super soft. Taste was okay, tasted like a chocolate cake. Negative: As soon as I sat in the first table, I spotted a cockroach running on the wall. I know the place doesn’t have much ventilation and there’s a higher possibility that you have rodents and insects. You need to do something about it! Overall it was a nice experience. The waiters are friendly but need to be more helpful with the orders.
Quite average We asked for a platter and they told us it would take 15mins so we should order something else until then And then took 25mins for the fries !!!!! Avg food and cocktails too weren't too exciting
Happen to visit this place with a friend of mine. This restaurant has a fancy interior. Even the menu card holder was interesting. So were the items on the menu. I ordered slow passion which was fantastic, chicken skewers ( tasted a bit odd) and pasta which was really good. The service was great. This place is mostly crowded and loud. They also have a separate area for smoking and few games. A happy spot all in all.
Was close to our hotel - ambience and vibe fairly young/ hip. football match on, so sporty. We went for the pork, but they didn't have that. The lamb schnitzel was v good, so were the prawns. Nachos were not great. Beer was ok
So wanted to check this place out... and read the reviews, reviews were decent, but suggested that I make a reservation, lest I be denied entry. Had'nt used EazyDiner, so wanted to give that a try tooo, and ended up making plans with 3 other friends, all visiting from out of town. 4 guests >Tuesday evening > Eazydiner. Eazydiner ... for a promotional offer, even threw in a free draught beer for each guest. Wow! That's dope.. i thought. So I reached the venue, surprisingly on time (seldom do I make this cut .. an ardent believer in Indian Standard Time.. ).. and got the most absurdly rude shock. The bouncer in a yellow tee, doesn't let me enter. Showed him the SMS from eazydiner, B: We have no record of the reservation, show us the Voucher. Me: I don;t have any voucher, it's an online reservation. B: Sorry sir, that's the rule ... (Mind you these guys are not just rude, but cannot even converse in any language decently) Me: Could I speak with the Manager?? B: (Calls for someone, and a guy walk out looking like a steward.. definitely not the manager) New Guy: Sorry sir, you have to show us the voucher, otherwise we can't let you in? (this guy too like the Bouncer has fantastic communication skills.. and I was beginning to wonder) Me: Ok is the place full?? New Guy: No we have tables. Me: Alright, so i don't want to use the Eazydiner reservation. We'll let that pass. NG: Sorry sir. House rules we will not allow Stag's. (So we're not even young chaps, who'd get drunk and create a fuss.. we're more like mid 30's office goers) Me: Hey does it look like we wanna go create a fuss, you say it's not full, let us get in, we'll have a couple of beers and be gone. NG: Do what you will, we will not let you enter? (at this point my friend says.. dude, lets not haggle like college kids.. lets go another place) So we eventually just decided to move on...and then I get a call from Eazydiner, and the caller says we misbehaved at Thirsty Crow. This is now serious. Not only do these guys not let us enter, they also complain about us. So I told the telecaller, please request for the CCTV video feed, and you'll realize, that we were barely there for 3~4 mins, on the steps and left disgusted. So this is the kinda place I'd never wanna visit. Discourteous > Incapable. Avoid!!
