Tummy Tales is a cafe in Navalur, Chennai serving cafe. Known for coffee and desserts; ideal for coffee catch-ups and casual meals.

Seafood pizza is average. Makhani pizza was good. Mac and cheese was very good. Jerk chicken was not very good, rice was too spicy. Bolognese was not too good either. Fish burger is decent. Fries were good. Ambience and service is excellent. Would recommend for dates and to impress.

To begin with, there is no car parking available, and it’s quite risky to leave your vehicle in the service lane. The restrooms were dirty and filled with mosquitoes.

Coming to the food — it was disappointing. The mac and cheese tasted very artificial, and we literally had to search for chicken pieces in the chicken stroganoff. Even a simple portion of French fries took nearly half an hour to arrive. The bubble tea was served only after we had finished all our food.

The only positive was the pizza, which tasted good. Apart from that, everything — from food quality to service — was below expectations. I’m not sure about their Besant Nagar branch, but the Navalur outlet is definitely not recommended.

Overall, it wasn’t worth it, even with a 30% discount through Swiggy Dineout.
