At 21 Gun Salute, the overwhelming design detail is the presence of two vintage cars, making one wonder how they got them up the narrow staircase. The restaurant serves cuisine from India’s royal past and borrows some dishes like spaghetti bolognaise from Western kitchens as well. So there is the Mughal and Nizam-influenced food as well as a special focus on the cuisine from the kitchens of Gwalior (dahi kabab) and Rajasthan (keema roti and Nagore korma). The ambience is elegant and the food delivers on its promise of a royal experience at affordable prices.
I have been here twice, both visits were made within a time-frame of six months or so. While the first time around food was alright the second time around it was pathetic, even the dal was not that great and the service was poor even when there weren't a lot of people in. I haven't bothered to make another visit there thereafter.
Excellent! Royal Ambience and fill.We enjoyed the fine drinks there and the 3 course meal. Food quality awesome. And the services quite good.
I went there a long time back, although the restaurant was empty still the service was poor and very slow.At that point in time I never liked it, not sure if they have ramped up there services now or it can easily, still be avoided.
I went to this place to have starters and I must say that this place hasn't disappointed me and it was simply amazing.
Good food. Antique Guns are there in decoration. Light music which sounds good. Service is also good.
