Food

Amici Cafe

This place is located in defence colony market good place for Italian dine in
The ingredients were so fresh on pizza due to which the flavour was so enhanced
This was a quiet place of dates and dine in
Do try this place for the Italian vibe

*Ambience (4.5/5):- The ambience was really cool. The interiors were well designed . Having a spacious sitting area.

*Service (4/5) :- The service was a bit slow even having less customers. Overall the service was good.

* Food ( 4.5/5):- The pizza was fantastic. The base was really soft and delicious. Also priceworthy . Also ordered truffle fries which were really appetizing and crispy. Worth trying here.

OVERALL VERDICT:- 4.5/5

Food quality have got worse than before. I used to come here monthly after college hours. Went after 2 years but the pasta was not upto the mark and pizza was normal. Expensive compared to the quality. Ambience is nice.

Dining at Amici Cafe feels easygoing and familiar, making it a reliable choice for anyone craving a hearty Italian style meal without too much fuss. The pizzas are consistently good, baked with a crisp base and flavorful toppings, while the pastas bring a satisfying balance of sauce and seasoning. The menu has just enough variety to keep things interesting without becoming overwhelming.

The staff are attentive and welcoming, which adds to the charm of the place. Service can be a touch slow during peak hours, but the relaxed vibe of the café makes the wait manageable. The pricing is reasonable, considering the quality and portion sizes. Amici Cafe works well for casual lunches, dinners, or even a quick coffee and dessert break, offering a mix of comfort and quality in a setting that feels approachable.

The food is without any doubt a five stars. The service is quite delayed but that is defined due to their taste which worth waiting. However, during billing they ask you for a 25% Service taxes which you can ask for waiving off. Overall the place is worth trying for Italian food. Espe. pastas, Pizzas - MArga, gardeniera.

Amici Cafe has built its reputation around comfort food served in a casual and cheerful setting. The interiors are simple but inviting, with enough warmth to make it a place where you can settle in for a relaxed meal. The pizzas are the highlight of the menu, with thin crusts and fresh toppings that keep people coming back. Pastas and salads also work well if you are in the mood for something lighter.

The service is straightforward and friendly, with staff who are quick to assist and offer suggestions. At busy times the pace can slow down a little, but the overall experience remains pleasant. Prices are in line with what you would expect from a café that focuses on quality ingredients. Amici strikes a nice balance between being a dependable everyday option and a spot for casual outings with friends.

Definitely visit. In fact, avoid the crappy food and coffee at the Barista closeby, and try their two rocket salads instead. The pizzas aren't bad either, but I'm wary of being tempted by the salmon; if they can't handle chicken breast, they'll murder the salmon. Nice coffee though. They serve it strong in little cups.

Pros: A nice menu with something for everyone, including some really nice salads. Service staff who are helpful, (mostly) cheery and effective. A minimal atmosphere with reasonable seating.

Cons: cross the t's and dot the i's (day old bread for croutons (not fresh), Caesar dressing (is not mayo), use Canadian bacon if it's mentioned...), really slow kitchen, seating could be more comfortable (cushions would go a long way), handle breast carefully; it dries out quickly...

The menu consists of items like pizzas, pastas, bruschetta, sandwiches, burgers and a range of smoothies, fresh juices and so on. We came here for lunch on a weekday and were the only people around for most of that time. Several delivery men came by to pick up orders, especially for pizzas, so I guess Amici does a good deal of its business this way.

We ordered three dishes to share: a smoked salmon and cream cheese bruschetta, a BBQ lamb burger, and an SPQR Caesar salad (I added an optional topping of bacon and grilled chicken). Everything was delicious; we wouldn’t change a thing. Absolutely going back here again.
