Bercos may be blamed or commended (depending on your taste) for popularising Indian style Chinese food in the NCR. Although they now boast a Thai selection, the Chinese is what they are known for. This three-decade-old restaurant chain has 14 locations across the city and continues to bring its no fuss, reasonably priced ‘chowmein’ style food to plates. Bercos has managed to maintain and strike a balance between experience and price. Although recent entrants like Mainland China have challenged its hold on the Delhi diner, the restaurant still remains popular with office goers in the buzzing Connaught Place area during lunchtime and with families for dinner. Not much has changed at Bercos and arguably that’s a good thing
Bercos is a restaurant chain which specialises in Chinese Schezwan made Indian style .. meaning more spiced up and pallete suited to the local taste. We tried the outlet in Janakpuri district centre and were not dissapointed. Food quality is quite good with quite many options and they also have Thai options as well as a well stocked bar. The only thing which did not work was that the waiting time between placin order and actual serving is way too long (almost 40 minutes in our case) and actually one of the customers in the next table got irritated and left with family when after a long wait they received what they didnt order. Room for improvement here !!
Bercos outlet serves amazing Chinese and great service . Offers value for money in terms of authentic Chinese food , not Indian Chinese . Fond of their Chilly Fish along with beer tastes awesome . Been a regular at this place and love to visit with family . Use your Citi card and they will be happy to offer 20% off on bill.
Yummy food it is...sudden plans and u can call bercos every time. They give awesome Chinese and to increase the authenticity, you get chopsticks to enjoy your meal.
Loved this place, food fantastic, would highly recommend, Thai Chinese food fantastic, would say more Thai than Chinese, nice spices not bland
The time they take to serve you for a order is very long. Food options for vegetarians seems to be slightly limited. Scope for improvement.
If there is one thing that comforts a person right to his soul it’s good wholesome food. For many comfort is sought in the plate of pasta and for other, burgers but we find our bit of heaven in a plate of fried noodles accompanied by a helping of chilli chicken. This mouth-watering combination has the power to stir any Chinese food lover and when talking about Chinese food in the city, one has to mention the name ‘Berco’s’. This immensely popular chain of restaurants are dotted all over Delhi and are number one destination for good pocket-friendly Chinese meal. Berco’s is buzzing all day long with hungry diners and chances are, you will be left waiting for your table on weekends especially. The Janakpuri outlet is a mecca for West Delhi foodies.
Berco’s is a name that is synonymous to Chinese food in Delhi and is known for wonderful drool-worthy Chinese food for affordable rates. The food is Indianised to suit the palates of the diners, a fact that works well with the foodies. Their menu includes a Thai section although Chinese food remains their forte. Berco’s has been around for almost three decades and is one of the fastest growing chain in the city. The menu open with a string of appetizers like, crispy fish with homemade sweet chilli, chicken sui mai, juicy chicken drumsticks, lotus stem honey chilli, prawns pepper salt and garlic & cheese wontons. Spoon some hakka noodles or fried rice onto your plate to mop up the gravies. Dig into, vegetables in creamy garlic sauce, kung pao chicken, lemon coriander fish, prawns in Mongolian sauce, shredded lamb in hot garlic sauce and chicken peking delight.
Round off the meal with a taste of desserts. Berco’s woo you with, chocolate mousse, date roll with ice-cream, death by chocolate, darsan, brown zebra and a spread of ice-creams. Berco’s is certainly known for its food if not for its décor. Don’t except a luxurious elegant space, rather what you will have is good-looking well-designed dining room with Asian elements added to it to make it seem more theme-worthy. Dining area is done in yellow walls with dark wooden furnishings. Buddha art installations bring in the Zen factor which does a lot to elevate the style quotient. Berco’s is a great family-style restaurant that serves mind-blowing Chinese for budget-friendly prices.
