A neat and artistic looking café with cardboard sketches and fusion paintings tactically hung on the walls. A lot of thought has been put in the design of the logo and menu. The antipasti platter, with soft pan-fried prawn, Parma ham, juicy chicken with capers on crispy bread is worth trying. It is served with ricotta stuffed mushrooms and rocket leaves. Another thing to try here is the juicy and tender grilled New Zealand lamb chops marinated in red wine served with an orange carrot glaze and potato stack. The staff is well versed with the Italian menu.
It was a casual discussion meeting with my business associate and we ordered coffee and a salad. The coffee (Americano) was flavourful and strong, slightly acidic, full of aroma and in the right quantity. My companion had a Cafe Latte and was happy with it as well. The watermelon Feta salad with rocket leaves was fresh and crispy - I enjoyed its taste, but have seen better presented salads - these guys could try and be more creative in their salad presentation.
Cafe Amaretto contains a classy dominance with intriguing artsy paintings installed on the walls. The interior is pure and illuminates a very calm feeling. I'd have preferred a more serene location in an open area but, sadly, it's placed in a mall. The aura is very romantic plus it's a site for people who love Italian cuisine. Moving on to the review, it was a humble invite by Shayal Taunk, the owner. The invitation was extended for as long as we both were busy with our personal engagements. Finally, I asked Shayal to get me a table on a weekday and she agreed. The place was empty as I reached, and was entertained by the manager. I didn't opt for anything, rather than gave them the liberty to choose. The meal started with smooth and rich Amaretto's Affogato - American Coffee with Ice cream which complimented with Baked Mushrooms stuffed with Feta and Red Peppers, and Assorted Multigrain Bruschetta, both were a perfect combination of exemplary ingredients and seasonings. Mango and Rose Shake, subtly sugared followed by Amaretto's Artichoke Romana, a pizza that will haunt you for months and there is nothing matched to this one. Gnocchi filled with Mozzarella & Basil tossed in a Tomato Confit Broth is a happy-making meal, it surely can't be consumed by an individual. Gnocchi, here, is loaded with an excellent flavor of Tomato Confit Broth and richness of Mozzarella. Ricotta Cheese Cake with Strawberry Sauce is an outstanding choice to close your dinner. Cafe Amaretto, for me, is a crafty pick if you really want to impress someone. The delicacies do wonders to your palate. The pricing is bit steep, but it's less expensive in contrast to the others. I'd surely recommend Cafe Amaretto to all my loved ones and would want the place to grow organically in this competitive industry. Thank you for inviting me!!!
Amaretto...is an almond flavoured Italian liqueur...well to our disadvantage we went on a dry day and were not served this very different sounding liqueur! But cafe Amaretto didn’t disappoint us one bit...the food menu was just finger licking good! We were welcomed by a freshly baked bread basket and it was like elixir to our hungry tummies...the soft melting in the mouth bread was a good enough appetiser for us to eagerly wait for the food we have ordered. We ordered a mushroom and caramelised onion sandwich and when we thought that this would be the yummiest n d highlight of our dining experience.. we had more coming..the angel hair pasta was homemade pasta n had a tasty tomato base...light yet delicious...! This is when our tummy was just giving in is when we got our lasagna...again same marks..top class! The last came out pine nut n pesto pizza n here is where the cafe lost one point in my rating...big meh...they served pine nuts separately which I think they forgot to add while making d pizza n pesto was nowhere in the taste...we complained n they replaced but that toook ages to come...and we were all not in d mood to wait that long so just when we requested to cancel-came in the order n this time...it topped aswell...while we felt we were full the pizza was nowhere to ve seen with minutes of it arriving! Overall yummy food n a small cafe with beautiful ambience...the only negatives were the initial multiple requests for bread basket n later the first pizza. Recommended! P.S. Its also on Zomato gold..
This restaurant was an accidental find and we absolutely loved it!! This is a cosy restaurant for small groups or couple dinners.. Dimly lit with really good italian food. Recommendation: Everything we ordered was delicious but the highlights were the Prosciutto Crudo , the linguini with prawns and the salted caramel cake!!!
Nice Italian cuisine served in a small but good restaurant. The Simple Margherita Pizza is my regular choice & it tastes great every time. Perhaps the way it's baked in the special kiln gives its special taste. Ravioli and white cream tasted at it's best! Garlic bread served with the orders is fine too. Good choice of drinks, Ginger Ale, Himalayan green tea was refreshing. I visit often. Should try while in Golf course road. Pleasant staff!
