Today went there to try Afgani cusine after entering the atmosphere & Vibes is good. Later i ordered Afgani Chicken Mandi which served with Rajma Curry & Salad & Chutney. After having first bite of Chicken Mandi the chicken was not fresh & they are serving old refrigerated chicken as there is too tightness & Hardness in chicken also Rajma is too cold & Mandi rice is also tight not fullycooked. When i asked about why chicken is too hard & Tight they said it’s because marination i told them show me another chicken pices they muted and replaces my dish with fresh Grill Chicken then i again told them this is how fresh chicken looks like. In between having lunch there was cockroach on table i told reception boy what the hell is this then he became stranger how’s the cockroach came. After having food i told receptionist that please maintain hygiene at least you have cockroaches roaming around the tables ,then lady also became stranger i told boy to tell her that there was a cockroaches then ladies told me sir have done pest control regularly. In the end worst experience & Totally time & Money wasted on such worst restaurant. Please don’t goo . ??

Had been to this place on the 1st  of Jan. I had specially gone there to have Afghani cuisine. In the past in 2019, 2020 had visited this place and the food was amazing back then. So again I visited. Had ordered half mandi, qabuli pulao and borani banjan. The Mandi was stale and rice had turned bad, informed the waiter and sent that dish back
Qabuli pulao was 2/5 the goat meat was not well cooked. Borani banjan was okay 3/5. The complete overall experience was 2/5 . As a foodie the food has to be perfect. This visit was a complete disappointment and neither would recommend anyone to visit for food nor would go there again. However the owner had met me during the exit and asked for the review informed her about the same and informed her to check the kitchen. Food is a big disappointment here. Overall experience in terms of food is 1/5. Worst & disgraceful in terms of Afghani cuisine. The place is run by a Punjabi lady giving extremely low quality Afghan food, extremely disgraceful. . In my lifetime of having authentic Afghan & Iranian food, this place should either change its chef and get itself better, else close the restaurant as serving stale food is not good for the business and God forbid someone gets food poisoning because of such bad food. The interior doesn't run the show, if you're in the food business the food has to be outstanding  as the food speaks for itself. No words to say about the worst Afghan food I've had in my entire life.

I had the Chopaan Chicken Kebab, the Lamb Koobideh with Afghan Bread and the Afghani Baklava. The Choopan was good, though the meat could be a little bit tough to chew for people who don't eat much meat. The Koobideh was excellent, so smooth and tender that it melts in the mouth. The bread was also good, though I would not recommend eating it without any other dishes, because the bread can be a little tough like chapati when eaten standalone. The baklava was so superb, I wanted to have many more pieces but my diet stopped me. I would not recommend eating tne red chutney shown in the picture at all, it is very spicy, your eyes will water so much as if you've eaten many raw chilies.

The restaurant is run by an Iranian couple, the waiter is a young boy who is probably Afghan and the kaka manning the shawarma stand is prob Uzbek. Thus they have a good idea of their native cuisines and make dishes they eat, but us Indians might have issues. Also, the negative reviews from as early as 2 weeks ago say the restaurant run by a Punjabi, but I found no such person there. The service is a little slow because they try to bring all the items together instead of bringing them one by one. I think the negative reviews have been written mostly by Indian Sunnis, who might not have liked it when the restaurant, run by Shias, played loud songs praising Hasan, Ali, Firoz Nahvandi  and criticizing Umar. They don't play these now, and instead play Hindi or Farsi music. I would to love visit again to try more dishes.

expecting a warm Afghan dining experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge letdown.

From the moment we walked in, the service was unwelcoming. The lady at the counter was rude and showed no interest in assisting us. There was no clear communication about the menu, portion sizes, or any recommendations. It felt like we were being rushed rather than served.

The service was painfully slow, and despite repeated requests, our order took much longer than expected. When the food finally arrived, there were items missing, and when we asked about it, we were met with indifference.

To make matters worse, when we received the bill, it was different from what we had actually ordered. When we pointed it out, instead of resolving it politely, the staff seemed dismissive. It took unnecessary back-and-forth just to correct their mistake.

Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor service, and attitude of the staff completely overshadowed the food. Definitely not a place I would recommend or visit again.

Due to high waiting time at other restaurants, we tried Chopaan kebab restaurant, had very pathetic experience with my family.

1. Starter platter served without salad and chutney, By the time we asked for it and it came, our food had already cooled down.
2. Mutton kebab was 50% undercooked, never replaced till the end of our dinner.
3. AC not working.
4. Wrong bread served and also it was stale at first , second time was fine.
5.Lady owner at counter was arrogant.

Taste was just okay, don’t waste your time and money.

We went for afghan darbar but due to high waiting we went in this restaurant.
Worst food , slow service , overpriced

We had the Afghani rice, Mutton Kebab and Chicken Korma, and we really liked it. The food was very tasty and they could adjust it perfectly so it had no onion and garlic. I was happy that I could eat here glutenfree, lactose-free and without garlic and onion.
