Okay okay
The amuse bouche we were given was to die for (picture attached)! We ordered linguine pasta (vegetarian), which was delicious, yeah, but wasn't the kind of fabulous you expect from a place like this. The ambience is great and so is the service. But it does not measure up to it's hype. It is also quite overpriced!

Not mind blowing
I Found the place to be nicely done it's a small cozy place perfect for an evening out with friends or a date night! But the food is over priced and doesn't qualify for value for money! The tax structure is also high and you end up paying quite a bit for a mini meal...I think that's the only disadvantage of this place everything else is great here!

Great Seafood Linguine
Diva is known for their amazing and authentic Italian Food , which they pride in making in house , daily and using Freshest and the Best Quality Ingredients. Their Seafood Linguine has a light Al Dante cooked pasta with a light Garlicky Sauce . The Linguine has many Fresh Clams which were super tasty and Creamy. This is a must try

Best Italian 2014
Diva review 2014 - After you take your seat you get your menus and with that you also get a bowl full of soft breads which are really nice and fresh. You also have all your olive oil and Balsamic Vinegar to enjoy with your breads. In the ground floor one should just order some panini,pizzas and pastas. They are classic thin crust pizzas and my favourites are the Classic Prosciutto which is literally Italian in all the ways. With that one could go for Parma Ham panini which is really the way to go for a meal. And if not panini then go for some white sauce pasta with some chicken sausages. If you fancy some wine you will be most pleased with their offerings as they have one of the biggest ,finest,best wine offerings. And if you are on the first floor you will experience amazing fine dining here. All the ingredients are hand picked by Ritu Dalmia herself and are of top quality. The service is even better here with a much more formal staff. For starters the best is Bacon wrapped Pan Seared Scallops with basil salad. It is truly amazing . This is the starter which we always opt for . The scallops are perfectly poached with the outside being a little toasty and the inside absolutely soft with a crispy bacon wrapping. As for the main course the Pan Seared Salmon , Grilled Jumbo Prawns and Grilled Duck Breasts are the best option. They all are amazing with really nice and complex flavours which compliment each other. If you are not interested in duck you could go for the Lamb racks or chicken breasts filled with ham. These are the best offerings they have. The whole service is really nice but its expensive. But the truth it is worth it and everyone should try it. Its a 5 star level restaurant ,not as expensive as a 5 star though and is also regarded as the best Italian restaurant in India for 2014.

Amazing Experience
Diva is in the main market of Gk2 . It is divided in 2 parts - ground floor has the Italian Cafe while the First floor is Fine dining. Well went to Diva after many days for lunch all thanks to EazyDiner as I had completely forgotten about this place. It came on my nearby feed and had a great deal. Lunch time there first floor which is their fine dining floor is not open so we sat in the ground floor where it is more relaxed and less formal . But honestly I prefer the first floor . We saw the new menu , not extremely new a few new items and a few different items than before. For my drink I ordered a basic virgin mojito which was very refreshing and sweet so I enjoyed it. It was very fresh too. Will give it a 4.5/5 as it was very well served . Before the main course is served , Fresh breads are brought to the table. Two types served - Crunchy Pita Bread and Olive Bread. There was even a very basic but tasty Tomato and Caper Relish which was very fresh and tangy as well giving it a very good taste. It went very well with the Crunchy Pita . Would give these a 4.5/5 . But the Olive Bread was superb . Freshly Baked , hot , fluffy and soft. Immense flavour by itself. But the best way to have this is to have it with the Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar. It is a full 5/5 combo. This was the first time that we had to ask for these condiments as mostly they served the olive oil and Balsamic together with the breads. With the breads came a quotation from James Beard which said - " Good Bread is the most Fundamentally satisfying of all food ; and good bread with oil or butter , the greatest of feasts." It is absolutely correct and Diva breads nailed it. For starter only ordered their Non-Veg Platter which I personally think is one of their best offerings. I would suggest everyone to try this for the best combination of starters. The platter consists of small sized many options which is a perfect way to try a lot and even get filled. The sampler consisted of Rocket Leaves with Olive Oil , Chicken Bruschetta, Chicken Arancini , Milano Salami, Pamra Ham and Crispy Prawns. Each and everything was very tasty . The Rocket leaves were there for the purpose of freshness in the mouth and they delivered. Would give them a 4/5 . The Chicken Bruschetta , it was a very basic Bruschetta but simply delicious too. The chicken was very soft and tender and the cheese layer under the chicken a very good texture . The flavours were very good. The bread was driving on the crust and soft in the middle. A 4.5/5 , due to the lack of some kind of salsa otherwise it tasted amazing. The Chicken Arancini , extremely tasty and perfectly cooked. Arancini is a very difficult dish to cook . This is because the outer layer should be crusty and the rice inside shouldn't get overcooked otherwise the whole dish just crumbles and it isn't great. But what I had yesterday was perfect. It was very crunchy in the outside and the chicken and cheesy rice was perfectly cooked. The moment I broke the Arancini into two the crunchy layer split while the chicken rice was steaming hot and perfectly cooked. The cheesy rice was very tasty and was melting in the mouth. The chicken was a great addition to the rice of course. Giving this a 5/5. The fresh Milano Salami was a great meat. Very fresh and tasty. Great quality as it didn't have any weird smell or overpowering flavour of garlic. It was very fresh, great quality and tasty. A full 5/5 Next the Pamra Ham , again great taste and qquality. It was very fresh. The Parma ham tasted great and it was very soft. Again a full 5/5. Finally the the Crunchy Prawns. This was superb. The prawns were deep fried in a very different batter. It was a bit garlicky as well as zesty. The prawns themselves were soft , fresh and delicate on the inside. Great taste another 5/5. In the main course we ordered Mozzarella and Ham Filled Chicken Breats and Hand Made Pasta with Clams and Mussels. Starting with the Mozzarella and Ham Filled Chicken Breasts in a Sweet and Sour Onion Sauce with Pumpkin Parmigiana. This was a great dish . The Mozzarella was melting in the mouth and the Ham was very soft too. The chicken breasts were very tender and perfectly cooked. The Pumpkin Parmigiani was great too. The Pumpkin was soft and sweet while the tomato sauce gave it a tang. Not just that the cheese also in the Parmigiana was very soft and tasty and gave another dimension to the dish. The sweet and sour sauce itself was superb. It had raisins in it too which gave a great taste. Loved this dish. Rating this a 4.75/5 , due to a but of lack of the sauce. The Hand Made Pasta with White Wine Sauce , Wild Mussels and Clams. The pasta which was home made meaning it was made in house and it is made fresh so that's always great. The pasta served in this dish was linguini . The sauce was white wine based and it tasted amazing . The sauce was very garlicky and had immense taste. There were 4 Big Mussels and multiple small clams and each and everyone of them was fresh and great in taste . The mussels and the clams were very soft and tasted like the ocean. Tasted great. There was loads of pasta and in every bite I got some clam or mussels easily. It was amazing . Giving it another fantastic 5/5. After eating so much I was very full but still got a dessert sampler . It consisted of Cream filled Cinnamon Cigars, Tiramisu and a Cheesecake . They even brought us a special in house Fig Ice Cream too. The Cream filled Cinnamon Cigars were amazing. The Cream was soft , sweet and cold giving it a great overall taste. The cigar was crunchy and had loads of cinnamon flavour . Would give it a 5/5 even to its great presentation. Next I shall rate the in house fig Ice cream. This was made very well and as it was a complimentary dish , quantity wasn't the great . But the ice cream was silky and flavorful. There were big pieces of fig inside it. A great 4.5/5 due to the quantity but then again it was complimentary . Tiramisu was also very good but not one of the best , as one would expect from an Italian restaurant. I recently had ITC Maurya's Tiramisu a few days ago and it tasted amazing . That was the original. I would give the Tiramisu a 4/5. And finally there was the cheesecake. This was very well made and tasted amazing too. Rating this a 4.75 out of 5 . The whole dessert platter was tasty and I am giving it a 4.5/5. The Dessert Sampler was the EazyDeal by EazyDiner and is a great deal. Will visit soon all. Italian food lovers can rejoice for there is finally a place in Delhi where you will be served authentic Italian fare guarantee of its excellence. GK-2, M block is the home to Diva – the Italian restaurant which is owned by celebrity chef Ritu Dalmia. Chef Dalmia has managed to bring to us a comparatively reasonable Italian serving place where you are sure to get marvellous food. The chefs before being trained by the Chef Dalmia had no clue about Italian cuisine but they have taken each class in seriousness and are producing lip smacking dishes. The biggest compliment of the authenticity is that Italian embassy gets Diva to cater its events. The location of the restaurant is posh and the faithful clientele is all upper crust. The elegance of the locality infuses into the décor colouring it with class and sophistication. Choose to sit next to window which gives a fantastic view of the block.

Though everything prepared at the restaurant is worth sampling but still the menu needs to be explained. The antipasti consists of pan seared scallops, warm salad of Orissa crab, crispy prawns, quinoa salad, bruschetta and kale & beet salad. For first course the chefs offers gnocchi, roasted red pepper soup, parmesan ravioli, spaghetti with calamari, risotto with red prawns and sweet potato tortelli. The second or main course presents coffee marinated lamb chops, grilled john dory, grilled jumbo prawns with pumpkin brulee, wood roasted chicken, confit of pork ribs, grilled & baked duck breast and mozzarella & ham filled chicken breast. The vegetarian mains shows potato pasta pinwheels, truffle mac n cheese, spinach & herb crepes, mushroom & goat cheese in crispy parcel and duo of parmigiana. Panini bar hosts various fillings like grilled parma ham, eggplant, peppers, sliced sausages and mozzarella/tomato/basil.

Most important part of any Italian establishment are their pizzas. They are what define any restaurant worthy of their salt. Diva dishes out amazing pizzas. They are freshly tossed, smeared with full bodied sauce and loaded with scrumptious toppings. Each and every bite of the pizzas are out of this world. The service of the restaurant is fabulous as well. Managed by a very connected manager the restaurant runs like a clockwork. The staff is attentive to your needs and are very helpful with the queries. On their recommendation conclude the meal with the surprise of chocolate and you will not regret it. A bit expensive Diva is a must visit place. Promise you’ll go!
