Ritu Dalmia’s most famous restaurant transformed the standalone scene in Delhi by offering authentic Italian cuisine without the benefit of an Italian chef and at prices that were a fraction of her hotel competitors. Dalmia has gone on to build an empire but this is the original: a fine-dining Italian restaurant with excellent pasta, attentive service and a roster of faithful regulars.
Diva – The Italian Restaurant is the first from the house of DIVA located in posh GK2 market. This award winning restaurant is a celebration of fine dining Italian fare and owned by popular chef Ritu Dalmia. My first visit here was on a Saturday afternoon with few friends. Everything about this place is brilliant. Be it the ambience, the service or the food- each aspect was perfect. Head over to Diva-The Italian Restaurant for the authentic & delicious Italian cuisine where fresh ingredients are flown directly from Italy.Spread over two floors, this restaurant has a beautiful wine cellar as well. So if you are fond of Italian food and wine both then this is the right place for you to pair the right kind of wine with food to enhance the dining experience...Gnocci with mushroom, Risotto ,Mille foglie of crispy lasagna sheets with pumpkin and sweet potatoes(baked golden) are must haves. Veery impressive on the plate was honey Panna cotta dessert - a tasty treat to end a super meal ! My points -1. Food : 52. Ambience : 4.53. Service: 54. Value for Money: 4.5
Good location, parking easy at night. Food quality is good. Prices are affordable. Wine list also affordableOverall repeat experience when in town
I’ve been visiting at Diva GK 2 & GK 1 since over a decade and the consistency in food is impeccable. The food is always fresh and well presented. Amongst a lot of nice things in the menu, my favourites are the Parma Ham Pizza & Goat Cheese Salad.
we went there for my birthday this year and it was wonderful. i loved their wine.. we had the montepulchiano one i think. and their strawberry and goat cheese salad. i can go back for just that. the warm goat cheese with sesame on it was heavenly. we had pesto pasta for mains which was fair. i've had better. i expected better. but nonetheless we had a good time. and oh yes.. it was quite full for a monday night!
This outlet is a slice right out of a modern and chic hotel. It's like a block was taken out and placed here. As you sit here, you automatically desire a fine dine experience and personalised service. Well regarding service and presentation the place does not disappoint you at all. The menu will intrigue you and tempt you to try something new.Probably I ordered all the wrong dishes because the food looked great but tasted very average. The only thing I liked was the dessert. Bon Appetit

Italian food lovers can rejoice for there is finally a place in Delhi where you will be served authentic Italian fare guarantee of its excellence. GK-2, M block is the home to Diva – the Italian restaurant which is owned by celebrity chef Ritu Dalmia. Chef Dalmia has managed to bring to us a comparatively reasonable Italian serving place where you are sure to get marvellous food. The chefs before being trained by the Chef Dalmia had no clue about Italian cuisine but they have taken each class in seriousness and are producing lip smacking dishes. The biggest compliment of the authenticity is that Italian embassy gets Diva to cater its events. The location of the restaurant is posh and the faithful clientele is all upper crust. The elegance of the locality infuses into the décor colouring it with class and sophistication. Choose to sit next to window which gives a fantastic view of the block.
Though everything prepared at the restaurant is worth sampling but still the menu needs to be explained. The antipasti consists of pan seared scallops, warm salad of Orissa crab, crispy prawns, quinoa salad, bruschetta and kale & beet salad. For first course the chefs offers gnocchi, roasted red pepper soup, parmesan ravioli, spaghetti with calamari, risotto with red prawns and sweet potato tortelli. The second or main course presents coffee marinated lamb chops, grilled john dory, grilled jumbo prawns with pumpkin brulee, wood roasted chicken, confit of pork ribs, grilled & baked duck breast and mozzarella & ham filled chicken breast. The vegetarian mains shows potato pasta pinwheels, truffle mac n cheese, spinach & herb crepes, mushroom & goat cheese in crispy parcel and duo of parmigiana. Panini bar hosts various fillings like grilled parma ham, eggplant, peppers, sliced sausages and mozzarella/tomato/basil.
Most important part of any Italian establishment are their pizzas. They are what define any restaurant worthy of their salt. Diva dishes out amazing pizzas. They are freshly tossed, smeared with full bodied sauce and loaded with scrumptious toppings. Each and every bite of the pizzas are out of this world. The service of the restaurant is fabulous as well. Managed by a very connected manager the restaurant runs like a clockwork. The staff is attentive to your needs and are very helpful with the queries. On their recommendation conclude the meal with the surprise of chocolate and you will not regret it. A bit expensive Diva is a must visit place. Promise you’ll go!
