There is an element of surprise in every dish you order at Karma Kismet and that’s what makes this unassuming restaurant so special. Whether you are eating the 'Gulnar Tikka', the 'Pulled Jackfruit Cones' or 'Angaar Murgh Tikka', there is an unexpected flavour or texture that will always take you by surprise. We loved the 'Cheese Sula' as well as the 'Kakori Kebab' and decided to order the mains just as we were about to burst at the seams. The 'Lamb Korma' and 'Bharwan Purple Potato' were delicious as was the 'Dal Karma'. Do not skip dessert here – the 'Kheer Pannacotta' and the evolution of 'Paan' are both exceptional treats.
Although food was stunning but the service is too poor & hopeless. It seems that serving team is not sufficient enough cater each table.
It is a lovely fine dining restaurant at Gk2 m block. i went there just to spend Christmas Day with friends. Restaurant was remarkable with amazing ambience and lightning. Overall, the Food is so delicious and flavorsome. If you are being served by dipesh you will be delighted. In starters we have ordered chandi murg malai, kakori kebab, angar murg tikka, galouti ki kismet, paneer tikka reimagined and katifi artichoke. My favorite was chandi murg malai. In main course we have ordered mushroom hara pyaaz, chicken Bharata, salgam gazar ki achari sabki, teekha mattar and kolrabi and mutton meat balls. So the unique thing was butter chicken naan. I’ve tasted this for the first time and it was outstanding. In drinks we have ordered mock tails which were remarkable. Last but not the least, in deserts we ordered gulab jamun and ice cream pan.Personally, I love ice cream pan and butter chicken naan. Highly recommend! Staff was courteous and friendly. Look forward to visit you guys soon. Nice work guys! All the best :)
Tried our hands again at Karma Kismet and disappointed again - not with the quality of food but with the restaurant manager. We were served cold mutton and on requesting to heat it again - the waiter took it back but manager started arguing that its not cold. This is not the first time I've experienced poor customer service at the place and we had to leave our meal mid way to pay the bill and get out of a place which is known for fighting with customers. On top of that the management had charged service tax which we had to get reversed - I strongly recommend you all to be prepared for a pathetic customer experience if you plan to visit this place! #poorcustomerservice #badmanagement
We had a business lunch at Karma Kismet and booked via EazyDiner. The food was good as well as the service. However, the complimentary 30 ml pours of Dewars that we got were certainly not Dewars. Me and my business associate had to leave our drinks because they were absolutely not tasting as the whiskey we had ordered. Disappointed with the complimentary pours thoroughly.
The booming nightlife of Delhi is giving opportunities to entrepreneurs to come up with their own version of bar cum restaurants. Bartender is another opening at GK-2 market just below the very famous fine dine restaurant named ‘Karma Kismet’. Easy to locate if you’re in the M-block market of GK-2. Do not go with G-maps. Call it a lounge/pub – which serves some wide varieties of cocktails as well as mocktails along with some good finger licking food with Indian & American cuisines with modern touch. This is their specialty. As you walk in, the huge bar setup, their comfy seating arrangements and some nice murals on the wall will surely catch your eyes at their first glimpse. Lovely. So, soon after a quick tour of the place we started the session with some of their unique cocktails as well as mocktails, out of which my personal favorites were: 1) ‘Whiskey Sour (The Desi Sour)’: A nice concoction of 2 parts of Bourbon whiskey with 1 part of Lemon Juice, some sugar syrup, egg whites and garnished with few cloves. It was the clear winner out of all the cocktails that we tried. Had it to believe it. 2) ‘Kokum Cooler’: Another nice amalgamation of spirit infused with Kokum syrup. Never thought that such mix will do some wonders. Go for it! 3) ‘Berry Refresher (mocktail)’: Very refreshing and packed with ultimate taste if berries in it. Went really well with its name. We then tried few of their nibbles and felt really good with each and every dish that was served to us. Some of them had me at their first bite. These were: 1) ‘Masala Asparagus Taftan’: It was really good in taste. Taftan is basically a bread which is originated from Persia. It is made with milk, yoghurt and eggs and then baked in clay oven. The Taftan was then garnished with finely roasted and cooked asparagus along with caramelized onions. Really loved its taste. 2) ‘Shatavari (Asparagus) ki Tikki’: Another unique, healthy, and finger licking tasty nibble was this. The taste was very unique and I totally loved it. Few will take it as bland dish, but I got bumps with its first bite. Very soft and melts right away in your mouth. Had it to believe it. 3) 'Vegetable Biryani': Oh my! Ended our session on a good note. Have tried Biryani at many places, but this power packed Biryani with good amount of veggies in it was amazing in its taste. It was accompanied with masala raita which went really well with the Biryani. Some nicely sliced onions and lemon were also served with it. MUST TRY DISH! Overall, I had a lovely time here. In future, I would love to see them coming up with more such amazing flavors in cocktails as well as mocktails and create something rare. But for now, visit the place to know its worth. Cheers to the entire team of Bartender. Wish you luck. Food: 4.5/5 Drinks: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5
