If you ask venture capitalists and private equity experts to name a mini-chain of mid-priced restaurants they are happy with, it is nearly always Mamagoto they name. And with good reason. When the first Mamagoto opened in Delhi’s Khan Market around a decade ago, it was the pioneer in the Pan-Asian space offering high quality and largely authentic dishes at attractive prices. It helped that the restaurant was bustling and cheerful and the vibe was happy. Mamagoto has since expanded outside of Khan Market and all over India but the basic principles have not varied: good food, a great vibe, efficient service and affordable prices. It’s success demonstrates that a commitment to quality always yields results. No wonder investors regard it as the chain to emulate!
Great food and ambience ...I have tried two outlets one is in gurgaon sector 29 and the other one Is in the ambience vasant kunj ...let me tell you this place never disappoints ...try the combos as they are totally value for money ..try the desserts brownie n ice cream n the benofie Pie ..
Make sure you order appropriately because they have good quantities
The service staff are very courteous and well trained about the Asian cuisine
Brilliant work !!!
Call it "Anti-buffet" or an unlimited 6 course menu, it's basically a great deal when you're at Mamagoto. There's a decent variety that's served on the table, so one needs multiple collages to cover all of it.
You Start with Lemon Coriander soup, Steamed Chicken Dimsums, salads, before moving to select options from their mains covering Chicken, Fish, Shrimps and desserts plus a mocktail each.
By the time you're done, there's no space to repeat anything! Food from Mamagoto had always been good, and they kept their standards in place.
A good deal at 649++, (2551 AI for 3), I would have just thought that the restaurant should promote the deal a bit more if they really want more to avail it !!
This deal is available only at Sec 29 Gurgaon and the Mall of India outlet, 5 days a week (Wed-Sunday)
It's our go-to place when we don't know where to go. Really nice Oriental food options - must try the crispy lotus stem for starters and coconut ice cream to end the meal. Would also recommend their dim sums and noodle bowls. Staff is always very warm, and service is A+ Have visited multiple outlets across Bombay and Delhi and have always had a consistently great experience!
It was my mom's birthday and decided to have a family dinner at Mamagoto. The meal started witg their complementary rice crispies which i just loved. We ordered the chicken teriyaki meal in a bowl and pan fried noodles with singapore style chilly sauce. The meal ended with chunky caramel sponge cake with toffee sauce with vanilla icecream. The desert was the icing of the meal , just the right sweetness and texture. All of us enjoyed the evening with some brilliant food, good portion size and prompt service.
I discovered this place while looking around to grab a quick bite on my way back from picking up my daughter from her school!
It's a nice little Restraunt and even has buffet options on some days unlike its other branches!
The food and service here are both great and I always love coming here to grab a quick bite with my daughter ...she loves it too!
It's one of those places which you can't go wrong with
Once I heard someone say whenever she misses Bangkok she visits Mamagoto at city centre, Gurgaon. This quirky yet casual restaurant has forever changed the face of pan Asian cuisine. The food is out of this world delicious proven by the long queues at lunch hour. The joint is done up in their signature colour yellow with oriental pattern wallpapers. The use of Japanese illustrations adds some authenticity to the place while using quintessential bamboo sketches as background. Wall arts are attractive and amusing looking with pop colours. The view from the restaurant of the mall below adds to another world dimension. The restaurant is well lit making the yellow pop out more. The staff is attentive and music energetic. If you are on a date or meeting try choosing some other place. Mamagoto is high energy and more in the lines of shopping break category.
Food is what speaks for Mamagoto. It is what pulls back the loyal customers all the time. Their wok tossed section is long. They have meat, seafood, vegetarian, chicken, fried, steamed categories. Crispy lotus stem, hot basil chicken cups, chicken wings, crispy chilli potato is in first page alone. Fried starters have things like spicy fried calamari, mixed vegetable tempura, corn fritter balls, rock shrimp tempura. Grill page has soya garlic robata, spiced Asian BBQ chicken breast, and street chicken satay. Grilled seafood/meat has its own components as well. So has steamed section. Asian soups and salads have lifelong fans. But what is most ordered is bowl. Mamagoto has bowls of rice/noodles with your chosen curry like a one pot meal. Teriyaki meal in a bowl is highly appreciated. A thai lost in hunan is another favourite with spicy thai lamb with a red curry flavour served on pad thai noodles. It has all the characteristics to become my favourite too. In curries mamagoto serves thai red/green curry with your chosen rice or noodles.
Mamagoto’s desserts have caramel sponge cake with toffee sauce, Nutella mousse, carrot cake and delicious homemade coconut and palm sugar ice cream. To drink non-alcoholic cleansers like wasabi mary, cocktails, mocktails, pitchers, beer, rum, whisky, wines are housed too. Mamagoto has making of an expensive restaurant but it isn’t so. In one thousand bucks you can stop missing Bangkok and take home some dumplings too. Win-win.
