This sprawling two story World War II bunker themed bar, is known for its great cocktails and interesting menu of bar bites. The 3D art installations, combat related artefacts and rustic wooden interiors add to the appeal. The roof top however, is a clear contrast with clean lines of chrome, glass and steel. As the name suggests, the menu follows more of a fun fusional theme with items such as dragon smoke popcorn, air bread topped with peri peri chicken, lamb galauti tacos and chicken tikka quesadillas with wasabi sour cream. The cocktails too have quirky names like Nazi grenade & yeast infection.
A great place to visit with friends for food, music and beer.. They were serving hukkah also in many flavours .. The place was very spacious as it was spread on two floors. Outdoor look was beautiful with pretty decor. They were serving amazing dishes. The quality of food was very good with the traditional touch. They had a great variety in the menu and the presentation of all the dishes was kickass. The cutlery which they have used was very different from the regular.. We have started with rice paper cold rolls Pav bhaji fondue French fries with mayo Dahi ke kabab Served with very delicious green chutney which tasted great as it pwas freshly made. And in mains we ordered veg. Pizza Noodles with szechuan vegetables And mirchi parathas with some yummy paneer dish. I must say that this is the best place to have amazing food as I found this place quite different from the other cafes.
My experience was pretty average at this place. We visited here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Generally on such occasions , we are offered the dessert complementary by the restaurant staff. However, this place didn't offer us any such service. It was disappointing. We ordered chicken tikka pizza and some drinks initially. They messed up our Pizza order as It was supposed to have mushroom toppings but didnt have any. We raised this to the waiter and got our pizza replaced. It tasted good! Later we ordered Paneer tikka makhni combo which had 2 tandoori rotis, dal makhni and paneer tikka gravy. The paneer was too sweet for our taste and We didnt like it. Overall, it was a not so great experience and we might not want to visit the place again.
The place has been around the block for ages, it has been on the list of every beer person in the city for its amazing microbrewery / amzaing cocktails and on the list of food explorers for fusion food. We decided to give it a try and visited the place on a weekday (again, this time not on weekend though) on weekend the place is taken down by busy/frustrated city people for parties and dancing as the place have an amazing DJ. The food menu of the place is not so intensive if you are a vegetarian. I tried some of there dishes and found the taste of some to be upto bar and some were not. Food items ordered: A) Appetizers i) Gol gappe shots The best part about the crispy large gol gappes were it's presentation, served with 5 varieties of water in a test tube and two chutneys in a syringe the masala is good enough to put anyone's masala to shame. ii) Air bread This is the signature dish of the place, here a baked bread is filled with cream cheese topped with a marinated cottage cheese and it feels good in mouth as well as the smooth texture of cheese. However i felt the cheese has overwhelmed the entire flavor of everything and it could have been better. iii) Chole bhaturey inside out This is a rather interesting dish, as bhaturey have a filling of chole inside and you actually need to break it down to see the choley iv) Mexican tostada Tostada also known as tortilla is anything used as toast and topped with variety of veggies, the toast is supposed to be crisp unlike this one though. v) Idli on fire This is a simple plain idly gone north, with a complete cover of a ginger-garlic based paste and some sprinkled black mustard seed to keep the idly touch intact vi) Ravioli The italian pasta is given complete justice to eat, the dough base was filled with stuffing of cottage cheese and baked to give you a smooth taste of filled pasta. vii) Veg dimsums The dimsums are filled with a variety of vegetable with a filling of molten butter inside it to make it way too buttery and smooth. vii) Dip your pizza Chef's innovation to take a pizza slice, fold it up and serve it with a dip mainly of molten cheese which is served hot. B) Beverages Day dreamer Bull frog liit Elixir Fire on ice Ready to get trapped C) Course Meal None was tried D) Desserts i) Veg cheesecake (RECOMENDDED) One of the item in the menu i would love to recommend every cheesecake lover outside. It's not traditional cheesecake it's filled with flavoring of vegetable on every bite. ii) Vanilla mousse cake Overall a decent enough option to visit and try.
We have visited this bar and it was over crowded. The service was so slow and left unattended. The manager was nice and he provided us the table.
This place is good to go with friends and family. A totally different ambiance with rooftop sitting. A variety of food options and bar menu to choose from and that too reasonable on pockets compare to other places in that area. Have been there 3 times and totally enjoyed it everytime.
