After having established multiple outlets in 18 countries, this popular International chain has finally come to India with multiple outlets across the country. The outlet is spacious with contemporary design elements and a cheerful vibe. From the cosy ambience to the softest buns you will absolutely love this place. The menu is elaborate, and coffees and buns are not all that they serve. Expect to enjoy a range of salads and sandwiches too, along with some teas and other beverages. The dough of the buns is a perfect combination of 'Coffee and Caramel', the centre filled with butter and then it is baked to golden-brown goodness. The buns are then drizzled with a very generous amount of any sauce that you pick such as think 'Nutella', white chocolate, dates, lotus biscuits, cheese and even strawberry with whipped cream. If that is not enough to satiate your sweet tooth, you can choose one of their crunchy toppings like hazelnut, almonds or Oreos. If you are looking for something more than breakfast or salads, opt for their portions of pasta, pizzas, soups or double chow because everything tastes so good.
The food is very very bad. No authenticity. The buns are frozen and not made fresh. Pathetic food is provided. Very disappointed.
Me and a colleague were looking for lunch when we stumbled upon this place while walking around Cyber Hub. They promote their buns so we obviously ordered a couple of them, one with nutella and the other with honey. We also ordered main course, cottage cheese steak and butter paneer masala in a bread bowl (very interesting presentation on this one- i don't remember the exact name of the dish). The food was delicious. The buns were crispy on the outside and soft and mildly sweet inside. Good company with tea or coffee. They also serve fresh juices. The paneer masala and steaks were well prepared as well. The staff was courteous and service was fast. Slightly expensive, just like all eateries in cyber hub.
I tired out the egg Maggi and chocolate bun. They have various kinds of buns with various flavors, so you can try one of those. There is outdoor and indoor seating so good for a sunny morning brunch. The pricing is quite moderate compared other restaurants in cyber hug. The staff is quite welcoming too.
Pappa Roti definitely does not exaggerate when they say 'World Famous Buns'. The crisp exterior and buttery, soft interior complement each other so well. There is a hint of sweetness which makes you want to have more or more. We looked at other reviews and decided to go with ice cream and lemon ginger black tea to complement the bun. But frankly, none of them complemented well. The bun made other sides look pale. Definitely need to go back for more. Will try other combinations next time.
