This outlet is a fine example of balance - where traditional and modern design elements co-exist in natural harmony with five elements of nature – air, water, earth, fire and ether. The open kitchen, which is a central point gives Pind Balluchi its heart and soul, and exudes a feeling of dining in a virtual food factory. The restaurant’s interiors are also a tribute to contemporary India and to the evolving palates of food connoisseurs. Go for the Lassi Man Pasand, Jal Jeera, Lemon Soda or Aam Ka Panna, before you begin your culinary sojourn. The highlights are the Tandoori Delights, which include Lamb, Chicken and Cottage Cheese flavoured with a combination of marinades and cooked slowly in the Tandoor. Do not miss the Murgh Tikka Peri Peri and the Achari Malai Soya Tikka. Ancient recipes that have faded from the memory are rediscovered in the rare Butter Chicken eating experience, the multifaceted identity of Punjab unified and preserved in its original form, the Butter Chicken here is wholesome and full of rustic flavour. Complete your meal with a sweet Gulab Jamun.
The butter chicken were fantastic. Great service. Good selection of indian food. Good location in the center of city
I visited this place and had an all-vegetarian dinner. The food was so satisfying and tasty I am not so sure about other branches of Pind Balluchi, but the CP branch was too good and I highly recommend it. Talking about the ambiance, I must say the place was cozy and live with high chairs, dim lights...making it an amazing place for lunch or dinner. It's a decent place to hang out with friends or family. They have a fair waiting time but the food is most of the times worth that wait. The staff is cordial and the music is good to go with food. One thing is that the menu can be made a bit more versatile, other than that the place is brilliant. The place is great for family get together; the place is designed to give you a look and feel of Punjab. The food is great service is also good. You will love the ambiance once you enter the place. And if u are lucky enough they also offer on the move musician and the sound of music just brightens up your mood. Visiting here is always a value for money and they put in their little extra effort. So that your dining experience should be a good experience and it will make your time worth it. But do remember you might have to wait for some time if going for dinner. You get on-demand waiter service by pressing the button that on your table to decision them. The costs of fine feeding, approx, value for two-person is along with was drinks ₹2000.
Been there several times. The food is as tasty as ever. Liked the ambience. A real paradise for non vegetarians
After a few days of typical southern food we decided to stay close to the hotel and go for a more Northern experience. The comments on the staff attitude sounded scary but we gave it a try any way. Our experience could not have been more different from those comments as we found our waiter to be patient, informative and caring (in particular when inquiring from our young 'un repeatedly if things were not too spicy for her). We dropped one dish and one rice portion from our order at the request of that same waiter and had a wonderful meal.
Walked into the new restaurant of Pind Balluchi for lunch the day after opening. Welcome was nice. The interiors were predictable but we liked it with all the colour. We walked in just before 1pm. A couple of tables were occupied by then. We ordered a standard set of dishes - daal shorts, Hing aloo, daal tara and tandoori roti. The food was good. Reminded us of Delhi. There were some issues though - the service was poor- the team was not trained, all instructions during food order placement were ignored like soup to be served 1 by 2, the kabad was to be served with the meal and the rotis to be served in twos so that they were served hot. Interestingly the restaurant was completely filled and there was a queue outside. Post our meal we waited for 15mins to receive the cheque but gave up. Went to the desk and realised there was complete chaos. They had to close the kitchen for some reason and turned away folks who had come after booking a table. Around all the tables where people were already seated we saw a lot of hassled faces. Hoping all issues will be resolved soon so that we can enjoy this new outlet serving our favourite cuisine at a reasonable price point in our neighborhood soon.
