The dining room mimics a kitschy village-style décor and the affordable prices and honest to goodness food ensures a large and loyal customer base. In a neighbourhood packed with restaurant choices, Pind Balluchi is consistently one of the busiest spots in the area and is particularly well-known for its sizzling kababs, which are cooked in a charcoal-fuelled clay oven, and its house-made Thandi kheer. The moist Kalmi Kabab marinated in homemade yoghurt, ginger, garlic and Indian spices is one of the most popular items. Amritsari fish fry followed by butter chicken remain sublime options. Recent menu additions include Pind special crispy chicken, succulent chicken pieces left overnight in a tangy marination, dusted and then crisp fried. The paneer quality is outstanding and the vegetarian would love the Paneer Shashlik and spicy golden cheese fingers. It’s for classic versions of up-front Punjabi cooking that Pind Balluchi has increased acclaim. Alert service, great accompaniments (homemade chutneys, dexterously rendered breads, first-rate rice), a cocktail list and a room full of happy people confirm its pedigree.
Well , Pind Balluchi is an attempt to create a Punjabi village kind of setup and try to provide authentic Punjabi food. However somehow most of the restaurants and employees aeem tired and not so enthusiastic. Food is average plus and nothing like finger licking. Non Veg is quiet great and for health conscious people could be an issue. Washrooms are below average in maintainence. The thin crowds inside are a testament to their regrowing popularity. The Energy and sparkle needs to come in food and ambience
We were a group of 7 and we searched the google in karolbagh but the google misguided us , this restaurant is located near the liberty cinema hall in the Rohtak road in Delhi , The staff were courteous and the ambience was nice , the food was excellent , Right from starters to the main course, everything was excellent, the price was worth every penny for the taste of the food . Would visit once again , it serves halal food
We had ordered the simplest of items e.g dal makhani ,roti etc and still it took more than 45 minutes to bring food to the table. There were only 5-6 guests at lunch so there was no problem of rush hour.Even the staff was unresponsive and gave a damn to our concerns. Food was very very less for the exorbitant price.God knows how it is surviving in face of so many quick service restaurants nearby
I went with my friends for lunch I ask for good suggestions of less spicy chicken but the stuff was untrained and they served chicken which was very spicy Staff was very rude and arguing with me for the chicken I had a reservation through easydiner In the end manager balwinder singh Denied me for discount He said we dont have tie up with easydiner Pathetic service and food I never suggest any to go pind balluchi
Went for Lunch with with a friend's family during his recent visit to India, The Service was slow and the food was average except Dahi ke kebab which was good, Since 2-3 of the dishes ordered by us were unfinished to a large extent and I am totally against wasting food, I requested them to pack those items for us, It was indeed very shocking to hear that the restaurant charges Rs10, yess Rupees 10 as packing fee per item, it was very disgusting that the waiter was again and again asking me to confirm that I was ready to pay that amount, It was infact too humilating in front of my guests that though our bill was around 5k, the waiter has the audacity to be so rude, instead he should have simply charged the amount and we would have definitely not objected..
