Prime Street Café is a resto-bar and cafe located on the Inner Circle in Connaught Place, New Delhi. The café features funky interiors and a spacious and classy ambience that is elegantly appointed. The restaurant serves a wide array of drinks and finger food from a variety of North Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, and European cuisines. ‘Honey Chilli Potato’, ‘Vegetable Kabab Platter’, ‘Tandoori Paneer Tikka’, ‘Chicken Tikka’, ‘Vegetable Spring Roll’ are some of their must-haves.
Food (3.5/5) : We were 3 people and ordered a veg Caesar salad, Achari paneer tikka and a Mexican veg pizza. The Caesar salad wasn't upto the mark as it did not have enough parmesan and croutons. They very miserly put the olives as well. The paneer tikka on the other hand was a hit for me. It was cooked to perfection with the hint of smokiness from the tandoor and rich flavour of pickles. The pizza is also worth trying as it had good quantity of toppings and was going great with the Italian seasoning and chilli flakes. It could easily serve 2 people. Ambiance (2/5) : Located in the heart of Connaught Place, this cafe is the most shady one that I have ever been to. Dark, gloomy interiors with eccentric LEDs, something that I do not like at all. This is obviously a personal opinion. The music was also not helping at all. It was way too loud and one could see people pumping beer and cocktails into them at 1pm in the afternoon which felt a bit unusual to me. Their Zomato pics are definitely misleading I'd say. Service (3.5/5): No particular complaints here, just it could be faster. Value for money (3/5): We spent close to 700 INR for 3 people after using Zomato gold 1+1 food offer. So if one wants a cheap food option with no particular preference on ambiance, then this is the place to be.
It was wednesday night when I went to Prime Street Cafe. This place is in prime location of CP inner circle F block. Climbed to 1st floor and grabbed a nice seating. I started with salads order. Ordered 2 salads murg chaat and caesar veg salad. Along with this I ordered Cosmopolitan drink. Salads and drinks were really good. Then I ordered Pizza which was just ok. Something was missing in the pizza. Then I ordered paneer tikka and apple juice and in dessert vanilla icecream with hot chocolate sauce. The person who served me Dhiru was in his toes and served me to his best. He really suggested us well. Overall for food: 4/5 Ambiance: 3.8/5 Dhiru's service: 5/5
Another very good weekend option in CP. This was my first visit to Prime Street and it went of pretty well. The cafe from the inside is not huge as compared to some of the bigger names, but has big enough space. The interiors are good, nothing very extravagant or fancy but street smart and gets the job done. They have a DJ console and cool wallpapers, add to it laser lights and it pulls off the ambiance well. The music is good, loud enough for you to enjoy, but not too loud making it difficult to have a conversation, so this was nice. The service is polite, prompt and will make you happy. Now coming to the food: Golden Baked Chicken: Sort of chicken strip, baked not fried, so it's a much better options than normal offerings. The quantity is good, chicken is soft, tasty and super mayo dip to complement it. 4/5 Chicken tikka pizza: Amazing. There's something about pizzas being made by new age cafes these days. They do it soo good. The thin crust pizza is soft, crust doe not get hard, topping are good, so is the quantity of chicken toppings. Very good option. Recommended. 4.5/5 Oreo Shake: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 What's good is that the place I feel is already less pricey than some known names. Add to it the the benefit of Zomato gold, this is a very good option for your pocket too. Surely recommended for those who haven't been there. Those who have, will go anyway :) !!
Some days back i went this place for dinner. Its in middle circle and a one can easily find. We were Warmly welcomed by staff. Ambience was too good, aa according to their name. We ordered chicken salad, which you need to try.. as i completely blown away. Must must try. In appetizers we had spring roll, honey chilli potato, chicken tikka, Murgh malai tikka. Everything was good, but you guys need to try their non-veg which is die for. Murgh malai tikka was too yumm. Damn juicy. Perfectly made. After having all this me and my friend done. But my wife, her friend and my daughter are veg and they want to have some main course so they ordered dal Makhani, paneer Lababdar and butter naan. So they said Dal Makhani was too good. So being a foodie I cant resist myself to try and yes! Their dal Makhani was too good. This place is heaven for non-veg.
Tuesday’s are more like weekends for me. As its my husband’s off and we try to explore new cafes in town. So last Tuesday we went this place. Place, service is secondary if food is good. We love the food here. But that doesn’t mean here service or ambience were not good. Ambience was perfect as to their theme. And service was brilliant. I can give 10/5 rating. We started our evening with soup. We had Chicken manchow soup and veg hot n sour soup. Soup was good. But as i don’t like mushrooms thats why i didn’t like my hot n sour. But my husband liked it.. and he love mushrooms. Than we had Chicken Salad, which my husband loved it.(I’m veg) In appetizers we ordered Murgh Malai Tikka, Spring Roll, Chicken Tikka, Honey Chilli Potato, seems this place is heaven when it comes to non-veg as I husband loved non-veg of this place. He loved both his appetizers but Murgh malai tikka was too good thats what he said. Ans i liked my honey chilli potato, perfect portion of honey. Usually restaurants mix lot of honey and make it so sweet. But here it was perfect. Even my daughter don’t like honey chilli potato but she loved it. Spring roll are too good. Not at all spicy. Perfectly made. Loved it. In drinks we had LIIT, Aerated drinks, Cloudy Skies, Orange juice. Cloudy skies is must must try. In main course, we had Paneer Lababdar, Dal Makhani, with some breads. Paneer Lababdar was just okay. But dal Makhani was good. What I don’t like much is their breads which were too thick. But apart from breads, I liked everything, service, food, ambience. I had perfect time there. And ofcourse I would love to go again.
