The menu of Sampan is whole soul pan Asian. The chefs make South East Asian delicacies and also for desi taste buds Punjabi-Chinese fare. The Indianised side of the menu puts the elegance of Sampan in stark contrast. Expect to see sarojini nagar’s momos and Chinese Tak-a-Tak noodles as well as rarely seen dishes like oshizushi. Staple like dim sums is as good start as any. Relish fillings like har gow, siu mai, siopao, cheung fun and lamb kothe. Move next to salads (som tam thai, yasai sarada and sashimi salad) and soups (miso shuru, pho, curry laksa and sour pepper wonton). For delicious appetizers the chef prepares duck with trio of peppers, Asian style lamb with vegetables, sampan special prawn, ebi furai, chilli mountain chicken, sambal goreng ikan, thai crispy-fried fish, spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce and crunchy spinach and corn.
