The entire main road of this stretch of Rajouri Garden is filled end to end with restaurants, one of which is Sufiaana. So popular is it that seating space has been provided in the waiting area! The ambience is cheerful with plenty of colour and chairs and sofas of a multitude of designs. The menu is a carefully crafted compilation of Iranian and Arabic kababs rather than cold and hot mezze. Bringing up the rear is a melange of North Indian dishes and tagines as well as pilafs from afar.
Overall the food was excellent and service was quick relative to the amount of people in the restaurant (it was completely full). I would definitely recommend and go again. Only area of improvement could be that the music was a bit to loud for comfortable talking. It was a live band, which was really great and singing great melodies, but the experience would've been awesome if it was a bit soft.
the best part about this place is hospitality food is gud taste is great presentation is gud interiorsare well made great place 2 spend time with family
The first thing you notice is the pleasant ambience, which is followed by greeting by the manager who helps you be seated. You can always ask for the specials by your server as I did and I was not disappointed, the food I would say is near perfection and I would very much like to visit again. I would like to mention at a 50% discount on a la carte menu this is the sweetest deal I have ever got.
While we reached restaurant manager named pramod behaved very badly when my husband didn't liked the table we were given...he replied yehi table h baithna h baitho .... as if we were there for free food... Very bad experience
Rajouri Garden is an upscale market and residential area of West Delhi which has on offer almost everything from a confectionery shop to high class institutions to branded showrooms to shopping malls to restaurant to bars, everything one can think of which is needed to live a classy life. But being a Punjabi population dominated region, nothing trumps their love more than amazing food and booze. With uncountable number of eateries opening up every now and then in and around the area all resembling each other whether they were in the Pacific Mall, Subhash Nagar or the B K Dutt Lane or the shopping malls of Rajouri Garden, there was almost nothing interesting or unique left to be tried out. To change that Cherish group introduced something that you’ll actually cherish in the form of their restaurant, Sufiaana. A name which has become a brand when it comes to banquet halls and restaurants has finally provided something to cheer for in terms of a fine dining experience. In a league of its own, maintaining its distance from the big brand names in the BK Dutt Market, such as TCB, AMPM and LCA as well as cheap Music and Party Hubs the malls are filled with here, this place is specially designed and built for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, parties, family get together, occasion of basically any sort. Being a perfect place to chill for the youth on budget, thanks to its hookah cafes, clubs, malls, even I was a regular to this area till some time back. But eventually I got bored of the same old same old and thought that I’ve tried all the best this area had to offer. Until few days back, thanks to my foodie friends, got a chance to visit this place. Whether you are coming through a Public Transport or a private one, the place is easy to locate with its presence on the main road and is just opposite to the mall next to the Vishal cinemas, one of the oldest landmarks of Rajouri Garden. Based on a Sufi theme, the place does justice to its name. With simple and sober, cream and bluish exteriors, this place will amaze you with its interiors. The interiors are wonderfully contrasted to the plain exterior providing quite a Royal theme. The place is divided into ground and first floor, has huge space to offer along with colorful seating and decorative and stylish artifacts placed all over enhancing the beauty of the place manifolds. Already impressed by the interiors and the décor, we decided to settle down on the ground floor. The ground floor has an array of seating options available, along with a small bar on the far left, having a seating capacity of about 40-50 people at a time and so parties, receptions, family functions can easily be organized here and it is not just that they can host numbers, they can service them well too thanks to their super efficient staff. First things first, they have come up with some amazingly refreshing mojitos that will make you visit them again and again in the coming summers. Ones I tried were the Pan mojito, Falsa mojito and Belpatar mojito. It was hard to pick the winner among the three as none was any less than the other. But deliberating a lot, I’ll declare Pan mojito as one to must order here. You can feel the real flavor of Pan and Gulkand in every single sip of the drink. The Belpatar and Falsa also tasted amazing but there was something about the Pan one that made me kept repeating it. Enjoying the drinks along with the continuous chit-chat, we moved onto the snacks part for which we opted first for the Shahjhani Paneer which had chunks of cheese with yellow chilli and mustard marinade and tasted just amazing. Followed it up with the Veg Mezze Platter that had surprisingly large number of things like batata hara, falafel, spinach and cheese etc in it. In fact it was not just the quantity of the platter that was huge but the taste was as high as well. After that we had the Shanghai rolls which were cigar shaped veggie rolls dipped in a sweet and sour sauce served in a shot glass. Done with the starters and before moving onto the mains, how can a fitness freak like me forget to order his share of green and so an order for the Fattoush and Tabouleh salads was placed. While the Fattoush was a traditional green salad with chunks of crispy breads, Tabouleh had parsley, tomato, onion and lime dressing on it. While most appreciated the flavors of Fattoush, I had a different winner (tabouleh) for me. The overdose of green with shining red pomegranate pieces was not just WOW to look at but it tasted equally WOW as well. For the main course tried my hands on their Dal Makhni, Panner Kimma Kofte and Mushroom Rarra. Dal Makhni is, was and always will be a must order especially when in large groups and it was good as ever. Paneer Kimma kofte were something I was tasting after long and they make me time travel back to some of finest I had tried before. Mushroom Rara was something new to me and these button sized mushrooms cooked in spicy soya gravy, dressed with coriander were a delightful thing to have. With tummies about to burst because of the loads of yumminess inside, it was the time for desserts and for someone like me no space in my stomach didn’t pose much trouble as I keep them in my heart. Also tried the Pan Kulfi and Cigar rolls with Vanilla Ice cream. The hot chocolate filled cigars tasted amazing with the cool vanilla ice cream. Meetha Pan is something I love loads and the Pan Kulfi even went a step ahead that by combining the goodness of Kulfi with the flavor of beetal leaves and gulkand. All in all, I had a superb fine dine experience at Sufiaana and if you are looking for a top quality food, service and ambience for your family or friends functions or get together, there is no better place than Sufiaana in West Delhi locality. Highly recommended
South Delhi is highly overrated especially when talking in terms of gastronomy and hospitality. West Delhi has discovered a swag of its own and have come up with several new brands to leave the mark on the gastronomy map. Its Rajouri Garden’s Vishal Enclave area is one of the upcoming localities for trendy restaurants and pubs. The busy road is crammed with various restaurants on both sides forming a vast niche of gastronomy haven for the local foodies. On weekends the entire road gets congested with cars by the incoming of food fanatics, who come calling in hopes of a good time. One of the popular dining destinations is ‘Sufiaana by Cherish’ in Vishal Enclave. The restaurant has its own waiting section so you can assume its popularity. It is often close for private parties, so book in advance.
Sufiaana by Cherish keeps a very wide eclectic menu to suit a diverse range of palates. The menu is cleverly crafted by handpicking delicacies from North Indian, Mughlai and Lebanese cuisines. Dining at Sufiaana might be expensive but the experience is memorable and exciting. Tackle the first course with the help of your favourite drink or give their signature house concoctions a chance. Relish, chicken shish taouk, spinach & cheese fatayer, Iranian mahi kebab, batata harra, jawaneh dajaj mal’I, dahi kebab, Kashmiri paneer tikka, rubyan mal’I, murgh ki raseed, teekha lahsuni khumb, peshawari barra, shahjahani paneer and chelow kebab. Follow the appetizers with mains such as, lamb tajine, paneer makhani, murgh dum biryani, sayadieh, paneer aur kimam ke kofte, dum ki nalli, kastoori subz miloni and Sufi’s prawn curry.
Their dessert section is worthy of the royals with their rich affluent sweets. Feast on, rose kheer, elachi jamun, chocolate cigar, ice cream sundae, pan kulfi and baklava. Sufiaana by Cherish attracts its patrons with a charming Mediterranean façade of white walled cottage with bright blue doors. Just like its menu, the interiors of Sufiaana is decorated in an eclectic way. Beige wallpapered walls sets off the colourful formal furniture beautifully. There is always the option to go casual with their cosy low seated sofas and plush chairs. If you are part of a large group of diners then ask to be seated in their private dining section. The ambience is elegant, striking, vivid and intimate. The eclectic theme of the restaurant works well with the regulars.
