Located in Karkardooma, The Barbeque Company is a decent stop for those looking to enjoy a hearty meal. With an option of Buffet and A la Carte, they have an elaborate menu to choose from. The interiors are simple and the place is perfect for dining with groups and family. Among the must-try dishes are their 'Vegetarian Kofta Curry' and 'Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani'.
You won't associate East Delhi with high quality food leave alone a buffet but The Barbeque Company is a hidden gem here. Its all veg and non-veg buffet concept with live grill on the table concept similar on the lines of Barbeque Nation, Pirates of the Grill, The Ancient Barbeque and others. Food is amazing and in budget - that's all a foodie will want. Must visit for buffet lovers. Location: It is near Karkarduma metro station and opposite to Shanti Mukund Hospital and is right on the main road so locating it is not a problem. With metro nearby it is easy to reach. Parking: There is free valet parking. What more do you want? Ambiance: The restaurant is on the first floor with entry through stairs or lift. It is little compact due to space constraints and you may feel claustrophobic in case of a full house. The interiors are nicely decorated but never goes over the top. Lighting is little dim but sufficient to click selfies and group photos. Seating: The seating is divided into three partitions but it for decorative purposes only. Chairs may feel little uncomfortable for those who are of short heights but still manageable. Service: Simply amazing service right from you enter inside. They will immediately ask for your preference and explain the service if you are having buffet for first time. The plates were cleaned immediately and empty skewers were taken out as soon as we finished them. In the mid way the manager came with the head chef to inquire about the food and if anything is needed. Food: It was a three course non-veg meal with starters on the table and main course to be taken from the kitchen section with desserts at the end. For drinks they had Beer also - Kotsberg Beer to be exact. The starters were similar as found in other buffet restaurants. The pieces were little small but tasted amazing with medium spicy hot. At least 3 repetitions of the starters can easily justify how good the food was. The main course had biryani with fish and mutton. Not every restaurant can prepare mutton curry the way the chef had made. The mutton pieces were tender and juicy with not too much of bones. For desserts there were usual halwa, pastry and gulab jamun but the star attraction was the Mississippi Mud Pie. And don't forget the pan flavoured ice-cream. Cost: Rs.1100 for a couple for non-veg buffet in lunch, what the hell. This can't get better than this. Total value for money. If you are looking for more then drag some more of your friends, colleagues, cousins or anyone who cares to have a meal with you because they have this promo like for a group of 4 people 1 eats free. Similarly for a six 2 people will be free, though on selected days only. Overall a nice buffet experience in a amazingly competitive price. The service is amazing and I am definitely coming here again hoping they maintain the high standards they have set for themselves.
Starters and the "Live Grill' are the best part of this restaurant. The buffet system was very good. All the starters were very tasty. Food was good but the variety and the quality of the dessert items were awesome. Ice-cream cocktail with a flavor of pan was too good. Restaurant staff had shown great service etiquette. On the whole everything about this restaurant was good. The only thing I missed in the restaurant was music. They should have played some music in the background.
It was a casual dinner outing with my wife and I didn't regret it @ all, Everything was good. The starters were very nice, they made extra spicy Chaap and it was way better. Panner and other Were good. Mocktails were something I enjoyed the most, they were great. MainCourse was nice and had some decent options to choose except for their Kadhi Pakora which wasn't upto the mark. Desserts had some good and usual options to choose but their Cold Stone Ice Cream steal the show. Overall Good
There ambience was good and i have booked this place through an mobile app called dineout rates for per person are very inflated I have paid RS. 750 for the veg and Rs. 850 for the Non-veg. Whereas I got to know that there price is little bit cheaper than mobile app's price. If I have to give ratings for this restaurant Food : 4.4 🌟 out of 5 Ambience : 4 🌟 out of 5 Service : 4 🌟 for non-veg 2.5 🌟 for veg Host Greetings : 2 🌟
So I decided to give a shot to the place on a special occasion of my parent’s 25th Wedding Anniversary. I must say the place has done great with the ambience and interiors. It also offers a number of cuisines that are worth trying. Party arrangements is also an option at this place. I must say the staff is punctual to their bookings and greet well to one and all. The food was fresh and beautifully served and kept over the cooktops. The decoration was great. (Extra charges to be paid) FINAL VERDICT: Great place for dining and parties as well. Worth giving them a chance.!!
Family style fine dining restaurants always remain in demand no matter what the season. Families have gotten used to the vast elegant spaces where they can sit with family and enjoy a hearty noisy meal. There can never be too many family-style restaurants in Delhi and another one will be most welcome. If you are on the lookout for a decent spot to get together with your large family, without burning too big a hole in your pocket then take a chance with ‘The Barbeque Company’. This tasteful spacious eatery is quite popular with families living around Karkardooma area, where this restaurant is located. Just drive down to Hargovind Enclave, opposite Shanti Mukund Hospital and bag a table. Remember, this place is quite sought after so it will be wiser to call ahead or chances are you will be disappointed.
The restaurant leaves no stone unturned to give their diners a memorable dining experience. Their menu is an amalgamation of trinity of fine dining – North Indian, Chinese and Continental. A full-fledged bar menu accompanies the grub. You can order yourself anything from beer to wine. Buffets are the star of the show however. They are generous plus pocket-friendly. Live grills on each table clinches the deal for us. It is loaded with a variety of appetizers, which you can grill at your leisure. Try out, hariyali fish tikka, BBQ pineapple, roasted garlic prawns, roasted chicken salad, multani paneer tikka and Awadhi mutton seekh. It is then you can focus on the main course. The Barbeque Company puts up, butter chicken, chana masala, cilantro garlic fish, mutter paneer, malai kofta, mutton rogan josh, pasta in Indian style and singapuri noodle.
When you do come to the final sweet course, you will be pleasantly surprised to see all that variety. Pick up a spoon and dig into, shahi tukda, butter scotch pastry, phirni, moong dal halwa, rum balls, churma ke laddu, badami kheer, coconut flan, mango tart and choco mud cake. Buffets are nominally priced, go with that. The interiors of The Barbeque Company are given an earthy industrial look. White exposed brick walls set off against a grey tiled floor. A low partition of wooden branches breaks the room into smaller sections. If you are part of a large group, ask to be seated in their private dining space, which is sectioned off with iron chains.
