This tasteful spacious eatery is quite popular with families living around Karkardooma area, where this restaurant is located. Just drive down to Hargovind Enclave, opposite Shanti Mukund Hospital and bag a table. Remember, this place is quite sought after so it will be wiser to call ahead or chances are you will be disappointed.
The restaurant leaves no stone unturned to give their diners a memorable dining experience. Their menu is an amalgamation of trinity of fine dining – North Indian, Chinese and Continental. A full-fledged bar menu accompanies the grub. You can order yourself anything from beer to wine. Buffets are the star of the show however. They are generous plus pocket-friendly. Live grills on each table clinches the deal for us. It is loaded with a variety of appetizers, which you can grill at your leisure. Try out, hariyali fish tikka, BBQ pineapple, roasted garlic prawns, roasted chicken salad, multani paneer tikka and Awadhi mutton seekh. It is then you can focus on the main course. The Barbeque Company puts up, butter chicken, chana masala, cilantro garlic fish, mutter paneer, malai kofta, mutton rogan josh, pasta in Indian style and singapuri noodle.
When you do come to the final sweet course, you will be pleasantly surprised to see all that variety. Pick up a spoon and dig into, shahi tukda, butter scotch pastry, phirni, moong dal halwa, rum balls, churma ke laddu, badami kheer, coconut flan, mango tart and choco mud cake. Buffets are nominally priced, go with that. The interiors of The Barbeque Company are given an earthy industrial look. White exposed brick walls set off against a grey tiled floor. A low partition of wooden branches breaks the room into smaller sections. If you are part of a large group, ask to be seated in their private dining space, which is sectioned off with iron chains.
